Although the official stood up for the first time to refute the rumor, but Renmin vehicle nationwide shutdown layoffs, adjusting the direction of operation is a real hammer.

It is understood that people's cars have been closed and laid off one after another in various places, including Chengdu, Changsha, Beijing, Xi'an, Kunming, Chongqing, and so on, especially in Beijing, which is located in the stronghold of people's cars. The response is even more intense. The Beijing headquarters of Renmin car has also been surrounded by employees these days.

On the 19th, the laid-off employees came to the Beijing Renche headquarters to ask for negotiations with the management of the company. Most of the employees are sales and appraiser positions, not only to recover the wages in arrears, but also to demand reasonable compensation in accordance with the contract, and the number of on-site rights protection is estimated to reach more than 100.

Employees who protect their rights have also learned that employees from all over the country, including Xi'an, Kunming, Changsha, and other places, have also collectively deployed to safeguard their rights, and some have gone to the labor arbitration department to lodge a complaint. At the same time, local Renmin vehicle employees have also spontaneously formed a number of rights protection WeChat groups, which is said to have a total of more than 1000 people, meaning that thousands of Renmin vehicle employees may be laid off in the incident.

The scope of the disturbance caused by "people's cars and layoffs at customs stations" is so wide that it can be said to be the first example of a used car platform. It is irreparable to lose their job overnight, and what makes these laid-off employees feel sad is that Renmin car is still in arrears of wages, not even mentioning compensation.

In the past few days, the operating platform of each sub-station of Renche has suddenly shut down, and employees can no longer continue to work normally. According to these employees, Renche has given two choices: either become a partner of Renche after leaving. Or sign an automatic termination contract.

In other words, no matter what you choose, it will be laid off by Renmin. The key point is that employees generally report that the company has stopped paying salaries in January and February, let alone talking about any layoff compensation.

Stop paying wages and drive out employees without compensation? Does this come from a company as big as Renren car?

Renche Public Relations Department staff said in a media reply: the company side will certainly be properly handled, including later compensation, all work needs to wait for the administrative side of the specific planning will be carried out.

As for another new business model to "become a partner", Li Jian, CEO of Renren car, called it a strategic upgrade for the company's "new platform, new retail" in 2019.

According to Li Jian, the partnership system will achieve platform operation, fully combining the advantages of Renren vehicle platform in brand, technology, and resources with the experience, skills, and subjective initiative of each small partner to improve the efficiency of second-hand car transactions. And set up a special support fund of 80 million yuan to help partners carry out guaranteed sale, car collection and other business.

In other words, the laid-off employees make their own car dealers, and bind the platform to buy and sell cars by buying the owner information on the platform. After becoming a partner, it has nothing to do with Renren car and is responsible for its own profits and losses. It is understood that the partnership system is only open to employees who have been laid off. partners have to pay a deposit of $10,000 and purchase product packages with blocks of $30,000 and $19500 respectively, providing 250 and 19500 basic lines respectively.

After getting rid of the employees, they are required to "start a business" with the company. how risky do you think it will be?

But there are also questions, the profit model is not clear, for a long time, worried about buying and selling information will be taken advantage of by other car dealers.
