1. Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd.: since October 20, 2023, recall some imported C-Class, E-Class, G-Class, S-Class, CLS, AMG GT, GLC SUV, GLE SUV, GLS SUV cars from June 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022, a total of 90280 vehicles.
2. Beijing Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd.: starting from September 15, 2023, some domestic C-Class, E-Class and GLC SUV cars produced from July 15, 2021 to November 30, 2021 will be recalled, totaling 120088.
3. Fujian Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd.: since December 15, 2023, recall some domestic V-Class and Weiting cars from December 1, 2021 to August 30, 2022, a total of 20881 vehicles.
It is understood that some vehicles within the scope of this recall because the impeller of the fuel pump does not meet the requirements of material characteristics, the impeller is deformed and friction with the fuel pump shell increases. In extreme cases, it may cause the fuel pump to stop working, causing the vehicle to stall while driving, and there is a hidden danger to safety. In view of product defects, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd., Beijing Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd., and Fujian Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace fuel delivery modules free of charge for vehicles within the scope of the recall through authorized dealers to eliminate safety risks.
Earlier, CCTV Finance quoted Japanese media as saying that fuel pumps made by Japanese parts giant Denso were defective, resulting in a global recall of more than 5 million vehicles, including Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Subaru and other car companies.

Due to defects in fuel pumps produced by Japanese parts giant Denso Company, a number of domestic car companies launched a large-scale recall at the beginning of September 2019, including Guangzhou Automobile Honda, Dongfeng Honda, FAW Toyota, Guangzhou Automobile Toyota, Changan Mazda, FAW Mazda, Guangzhou Automobile Mitsubishi and so on, all fell into the recall door because of fuel pump defects. For example, on April 17, 2020, a number of Toyota companies jointly filed a recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration, including Toyota Hanlanda, Camry, Prado, Crown, Lexus IS, NX, RX and other models, a total of 256644 vehicles. On May 29th, Guangzhou Auto Honda and Dongfeng Honda respectively decided to recall 396149 and 378625 vehicles, a total of 774774 vehicles, covering almost all Honda models sold in China.
On August 4, SAIC Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the regulations on the Administration of defective Automobile products recall and the measures for the implementation of defective Automobile products recall regulations, and decided to recall the following vehicles from August 4, 2023, including some 2020-2022 Polo Plus 1.5L vehicles produced from October 12 to March 17, 2022, a total of 57659 vehicles. Part of the 1.5L 2020-2022 gauntlet produced from October 12, 2020 to March 25, 2022, totaling 25838.
