On August 17, according to the discipline inspection and supervision team of the Central discipline Inspection Commission stationed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Yunnan Provincial discipline Inspection Commission, Zheng Heyue, deputy director of the equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, is currently under investigation by the discipline inspection and supervision team of the Central Commission for discipline Inspection and Information Technology stationed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Pu'er City, Yunnan Province.

Zheng Heyue was born in June 1967 in Funing, Hebei Province. He joined Communist Party of China in January 1988 and worked in July 1989. He is now 56 years old.

Data show that from December 2003 to September 2014, he successively served as the director of the Beijing work Department of the China Automotive Technology Research Center and the head of the preparatory group of the Kadak Certification Center (deputy division level), the assistant director of the China Motor vehicle Technical Service Center (at the positive level), the deputy director of the China Motor vehicle Technical Service Center, and the deputy director of the preparatory office of the Motor vehicle Judicial Appraisal Center. From September 2014 to November 2018, he served as Assistant Director of China Automotive Technology Research Center, Dean of Design Institute, Executive Deputy Director of China Motor vehicle Technical Service Center; from November 2018 to February 2019, he was appointed Director of the Supervision and Management Department of the equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; from February 2019 to now, he served as Deputy Secretary and Deputy Director of the equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Judging from her work experience, Zheng Heyue's work is almost always related to the automotive industry, and has been responsible for product certification and supervision for a long time, mainly in the China Automotive Technology Research Center for the first 10 years and the equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for the next five years.

According to the official website, the equipment Industry Development Center (equipment Center) of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (referred to as "Ministry of Industry and Information Technology") is an institution directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The main responsibilities of the center include undertaking the road motor vehicle production enterprises and product access technical review and other support work, assisting in the supervision and management after the event, and undertaking the vehicle industry information system related data management and database establishment and maintenance. It consists of 10 business offices, such as Comprehensive Office, Business Management Office, Policy Planning Office, Special equipment Office, Intelligent equipment Office, Major equipment Office, Product Review Office and so on.

Among them, the Supervision and Management Office is responsible for supporting the supervision of licensed vehicle production enterprises and products after the event, and is responsible for product sampling inspection, inspection, on-the-spot inspection of enterprise production and business sites, etc.; responsible for the verification of complaints made by enterprises, products and testing institutions; and assist in the formulation and revision of regulatory documents related to supervision and management.

It should be noted that Zheng Heyue is the second cadre investigated by the equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in the past two months. In addition to Zheng Heyue, on June 13, Yao Yong, director of the Product Review Office of the equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently under disciplinary review and supervision investigation. It is understood that Zheng Yong's product inspection office is mainly responsible for technical review work such as vehicle product access permits, vehicle fuel consumption, and new energy vehicle points; carries out work such as WMI/VIN record management of vehicle production enterprises; is responsible for the dynamic assessment of vehicle product review experts; and assists in the formulation and revision of vehicle product access and other technical conditions.

According to relevant reports, Zheng Heyue and Yao Yong have a superior-subordinate relationship, both work related to vehicle certification and supervision, and their resumes are almost the same. both of them have worked in the China Automotive Technology Center for many years, and then transferred to the equipment Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

As of press time, officials have not released the results of the investigation of Zheng Heyue and Yao Yong, and it is not clear whether there is a connection between the two.
