NIO announced an optional upgrade plan for ES8, which allows users to upgrade their vehicles with extra money, including a nebula purple body color, an 11.3-inch multi-touch central control screen and a 84kWh (battery life 425km) battery pack.

Previously, only 70kWh battery packs were available for ES8 sales, with a comprehensive range of 355km. With increasing consumer requirements for the battery life of electric vehicles, Ulai has also launched an upgrade plan for battery packs. The battery pack with comprehensive life of 84kWh and NEDC for 425km is launched, and the optional installation fee is 50, 000 yuan, while the upgrade fee for the original version and the car pick-up and Dading users before March 31, 2019 is 30, 000 yuan.

In response to the problem that users reflect the black edge of the large screen in the car, NIO launched a paid upgrade service of 11.3-inch "narrow-edge screen". The 11.3-inch second-generation multi-touch central control screen accounts for 80%, with a resolution of 1400mm 1600. it adopts LCD screen with anti-dazzling and anti-reflection coating, and the price is 2600 yuan (optional) / 3800 yuan (rear upgrade) / 1900 yuan (car pick-up before April 30, 2019, Dading users upgrade). The above policy is only applicable to 2019.

In addition, NIO added an optional body color, and the price of "Nebula Purple" is 10000 yuan.

Service is the core business of NIO. NIO has earlier announced that it will open one-click power-up service to owners of other brands, charging 380 yuan for mobile chargers, and 280 yuan for each time if the commissioner picks up and delivers the vehicle and adds electricity for customers.

According to the delivery data of NIO, a total of 3989 ES8 were delivered in the first quarter of this year, and the number of owners of NIO reached 15337 by the end of March.
