The new BMW X will also be powered by the fuel version and the pure electric version. The new BMW X2 is equipped with the newly designed headlight group, and the internal LED light belt presents a more sturdy "C" shape. The main difference between X2 and iX2 is that the interior of the grille in front of the fuel version uses a horizontal trim, while the pure electric plate is a closed dotted decoration, and the front grille is also designed with light-emitting design, which is fully recognized after lighting.

As a sedan SUV, the new BMW X2 looks very dynamic with a slippery body structure and a smooth waistline design. The rear of the car uses a new shape, the overall outline is more compact, the duckling tail spoiler and double-sided exhaust layout to improve sports performance. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4554/1844/1590mm and the wheelbase is 2692mm.

The BMW X2 M35i xDrive is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, with a maximum output of 300hp in the European version and 317hp in the United States and other regions. The BMW X2 sDrive20i is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine with a 48V light hybrid system with a combined maximum output power of 170hp. The BMW X2 sDrive18d will use a four-cylinder diesel engine with a maximum output power of 150hp. In terms of transmission, the two models use a seven-speed double clutch gearbox.

It is understood that the BMW X2, which was officially launched in October 2019, is the seventh model introduced by BMW into China, and it is also the only BMW LOGO model sold by BMW in the whole series, which formed an entry-level SUV combination with the BMW X1 at that time. At present, the domestic BMW X2 on sale offers a total of four models with a price range of 28.89-332900 yuan. The car market competition includes Audi Q3 sedan cars, Mercedes-Benz GLAs and other models. The data show that BMW X2 sold a total of 12983 vehicles in the first three quarters of 2023.

Earlier, domestic media reported that the BMW X2 (F39) on sale in China had officially stopped production at the brilliance BMW plant in Shenyang on September 21, and no longer carried out local production, meaning that the BMW X2 was officially withdrawn from China. In addition to the BMW X2, the BMW 1-Series hatchback also announced the end of domestic production, or the entry-level model could not bring sales growth to BMW, which sold 14296 cars in the first three quarters of 2023.
