In appearance, the overall outline of Qiyuan A05 is close to that of Changan Yida. Compared with the Qiyuan A07, which has just been listed before, the headlights of Qiyuan A05 are sharper, the front of the car uses a larger area of closed panel, the middle position is left with a horizontal decoration area for air intake, and the lower part also retains the air intake channel, and uses the exclusive logo of Qiyuan product series.

On the side of the body, the overall line of Qiyuan A05 is very smooth, with slippery lines and hidden door handles to further enhance the visual length of the vehicle. All three models are plug-in hybrid models. Among them, BYD Qin PLUS DM-i has absolute market strength, sales in the plug-in hybrid market first, the performance of other models is relatively average, while Changan Qiyuan and Geely Galaxy belong to a new product series, it is not easy to compete with BYD.

It is understood that Changan Qiyuan is the fourth product series after Changan, Auchan and UNI, and it is also the only Xing Energy Automobile brand series under Changan Automobile. On September 26th, Qiyuan A07, the first model in Changan Qiyuan series, was officially put on the market, with a total of five equipped models, with a price range of 15.59-176900 yuan. According to previous reports, Changan Qiyuan is the latest product line of Changan Automobile brand, alongside Changan, Auchan and UNI. Qiyuan A07 is based on EPA1 platform and provides add-on hybrid and pure electric version for consumers to choose from. In addition to A07 and A05, Changan Qiyuan has also planned A06 models, which are expected to be put on the market by the end of this year.

In the new energy vehicle market, Changan Automobile has covered the low, middle and high end market, in which the main market is Avita, the middle and high end market is Deep Blue Automobile, and the mainstream market is Changan Qiyuan, but according to the current development of domestic new energy vehicles, the road for the transformation of Changan new energy vehicles will not be very smooth, and the more bloody market competition is still in front of Changan Automobile. For Changan Automobile, the approaching schedule of the "Shangri-La Plan" means that the electrification transformation needs to be accelerated.
