Due to the needs of the company's business development, it was decided to appoint Zhang Yuesai as president of Hechuang Automotive Technology Co., Ltd., with overall responsibility for the production, operation and management of the company, officials said. Lou Qiaoping is the Chief Financial Officer of Hechuang Automotive Technology Co., Ltd., in charge of financial management, investment and financing management, company listing and other related work. Li Zhihong is no longer president of Hechuang Automotive Technology Co., Ltd., and the appointment will take effect from November 2.

Relevant data show that Zhang Yuesai has rich experience in the automotive industry, and he has worked in many enterprises under GAC. From 1988 to 1997, he served as workshop technician, technician, training section chief and assistant personnel manager of Guangzhou Peugeot Automobile Co., Ltd. From July 1997 to July 1998, he served as Deputy Manager of personnel Department of Guangzhou car Co., Ltd. From 1998 to 2003, he served as the head of the Enterprise Management Department of Guangzhou Honda Motor Co., Ltd. From 2003 to 2007, he served as deputy factory director and party committee member of Guangzhou Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. From 2007 to 2011, he served as a director, party committee member and deputy general manager of Guangzhou Automobile Hino Automobile Co., Ltd., and a director of Guangzhou Automobile Hino (Shenyang) Automobile Co., Ltd.

From 2011 to 2013, Zhang Yuesai served as the Deputy General Manager of Guangzhou Automobile Group passenger car Co., Ltd., the first person in charge of Xinguang Automobile Changfeng Project, and the Deputy General Manager of Guangzhou Automobile Changfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. After 2020, he served as a member of the Executive Committee of Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd., and vice chairman of GAC MOTOR Co., Ltd.

It is worth noting that the personnel change of Hechuang has something to do with the poor sales volume behind it. Hechuang Automobile, formerly known as Guangqi NIO, was founded in April 2018 and was previously jointly owned by GAC GROUP, GAC Ean, Lulai Fund, Lulai Motor and the founding team. In December 2019, Guangqi Weiwei came to launch the new new energy vehicle brand "Joint Venture HYCAN". According to the GAC cooperation model, GAC is mainly responsible for vehicle R & D and production, NIO is responsible for providing intelligent network technology and battery energy support system, and the sales channel is expanded by GAC.

On April 10, 2020, Guangzhou Automobile Co., Ltd. launched its first model, Hechuang 007, with a subsidised price of 26.26-303000 yuan. However, the post-delivery sales of the Hechuang 007 fell short of expectations, with cumulative sales of only 186 vehicles from January to June 2021. At the beginning of its establishment, because of the traditional car company and the new power of head-building, it was naturally favored by the industry, but soon the two sides parted ways. In August 2022, Shanghai Ulai Automobile Co., Ltd. announced its withdrawal from the ranks of joint venture automobile shareholders.

At present, Hechuang Automobile is jointly owned by Guangdong Zhutu Intelligent Technology Investment Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Automobile Ean New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. Among them, Guangdong Zhutou Intelligent Technology Investment Co., Ltd. is the largest shareholder, accounting for 68.55% of the shares.

After going their separate ways, Co-Chuang still doesn't have much sound in the market. Although Hechuang's models on sale include Synergy V09, Co-Chuang Z03, Co-Chuang A06 and Hechuang 007, the products cover sedan, SUV, MPV and other market segments, the coverage is good, but the sales of models are not good, so far there are no popular models. The relevant data show that the cumulative sales of Hechuang Automobile from January to September was 16507. The cumulative sales of Hechuang Automobile in 2022 is 13897.

For Hechuang Automobile, which does not have a strong sense of presence in the market, "Automobile Industry concern" believes that it has something to do with its unclear brand market positioning, insufficient product power, low brand influence and frequent changes in senior management. Officials have said that sales of Hechuang will continue to rise after the release of V09. By the end of this year, Hechuang will break through the monthly sales of 6000 vehicles. However, according to the reference to Synergy's sales of 855 vehicles in September, it seems that there is still a big gap from the 6000 sales. It remains to be seen whether the official announcement of the new personnel changes will lead to an increase in sales of Co-Chuang Motor.
