Guangzhou Automobile Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. recalled some of the Henlanda cars produced between October 13, 2018 and March 31, 2021, totaling 186837 vehicles.

Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. recalled a total of 88545 imported RX vehicles produced during the period from November 30, 2018 to March 1, 2021.

Due to the imperfection of the fuel injection correction control program in the engine electronic control unit (ECU), the actual fuel injection of the engine may be lower than the expected value, resulting in unstable engine speed during cold start. In extreme cases, the engine accidentally flameout occurs when the vehicle is running at low speed, which increases the risk of rear-end collision, and there are hidden dangers. In view of the above defects, Guangzhou Automobile Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will upgrade the engine ECU control program for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge, in order to eliminate safety risks.

GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration, and decided to recall a total of 168697 Henlanda cars produced between August 7, 2021 and October 5, 2023 from December 15, 2023.

The announcement shows that due to the improper installation structure of the lower guard of the front bumper for vehicles within the scope of this recall, when the lower guard of the front bumper is knocked, some of the claws may be loose, and the lower guard of the front bumper and the related components fixed with it may fall off. there are safety risks. FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. recalled a total of 350021 Corolla cars produced during the period from August 6, 2019 to July 11, 2023.

Second, Guangzhou Auto Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. recalled some of the Hanlanda cars produced between October 13, 2018 and January 14, 2022, totaling 157458 vehicles.

Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. recalled some imported RX vehicles produced between September 4, 2018 and September 6, 2022, totaling 68434 vehicles.

For the vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to the lack of pressure resistance of the internal parts of the high-pressure fuel pump, the internal wear of the fuel pump may occur, resulting in cracks in the welding part of the fuel pump due to stress concentration. In extreme cases, fuel may leak from the cracks, so when exposed to external sources of fire, there is a risk of fire. At the same time, fuel leakage, volatilization, there is unreasonable emission harm. In view of the above defects, FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Automobile Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will inspect high-pressure fuel pumps for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge. Parts that do not meet the requirements are replaced with improved high-pressure fuel pumps to eliminate safety risks and unreasonable emissions hazards.
