From the side, the overall contour of the new car is not much different from that of the old model. It continues to adopt the slip-back body shape, hidden door handles and multi-spoke aluminum alloy rims. The taillight adopts through-type design, and has been blackened. The rear surround is also provided with a motion diffuser. The exhaust adopts double-outlet design. The plug-in hybrid version adopts center-mounted double-outlet type. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4720/1838/1430 (1435) mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2750 mm.

Entering the interior of the car, Chang 'an second generation UNI-V interior changes slightly, the new car will continue to adopt 10.3-inch LCD instrument, 10.3-inch central control large screen, integrated sports seat, etc. In terms of driving assistance functions, front and rear radar, transparent chassis, 360-degree panoramic image, lane departure warning, etc. are standard for the whole system.

In terms of power, Chang 'an's second generation UNI-V fuel version offers 1.5T and 2.0T engine options. The maximum power and peak torque remain unchanged at 188 hp/300N·m and 233 hp/390N·m. The transmission system is matched with 7-speed wet dual clutch gearbox. The plug-in hybrid version will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5L four-cylinder engine and an electric motor, in which the maximum power of the engine is 110 hp, the electric motor has two types of 190 hp and 215 hp, the battery is equipped with two power batteries of 9.07kWh and 18.99kWh respectively, and the pure electric range of CLTC under comprehensive operating conditions is 50km and 111km respectively.

UNI-V is the third production car of Chang 'an UNI series, and it is also the first sedan. With the launch of UNI-V, Chang' an UNI series will gather "KTV." As a compact car, Chang 'an UNI-V offers 1.5T and 2.0T power options, fuel version and plug-in hybrid version models. Competitors of the same level include domestic Mingjue 6, Chuanqi Yingbao, Link03, Geely Xingrui and other models. According to the data, the sales volume of UNI-V in 2023 was 119,200, that of Xingrui was 124,100 and that of Link03 was 69,300.
