Almost half a year has passed since the launch of the first SUV model of Geely's new BMA modular architecture. In order to meet the needs of more consumers, Geely will officially launch the colorful PHEV model. The overall design of the new car basically continues the fuel version, but has been changed in detail. Qiyue is also the first plug-in hybrid SUV under Geely BMA architecture, and the power system will be equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system composed of 7DCT and ternary lithium battery.

In terms of appearance, the new car uses the same design style as the fuel version, but has been adjusted in detail. For example, the new car adds a blue design element to the forward grille to make it more in line with the identity of a new energy model. In addition, there is a C-type fog lamp on both sides of the bumper, which will be painted in two colors and a charging port will be added to the front fender.

In terms of interior decoration, the new car basically continues the design style of the fuel version, but it is adjusted in the gear and driving mode control area, the manual "M" gear of the fuel version is replaced by the energy recovery level adjustment, and the EV/HEV driving mode switch button is added.

The new car is also equipped with ICC intelligent navigation system, APA automatic parking system, AEB-P pedestrian identification and protection function, LKA lane maintenance assistance and SLIF traffic speed limit sign identification and other configurations. In terms of space, the battery of the PHEV is arranged under the middle aisle and rear seats, which is basically the same as the fuel version in terms of space such as the rear floor and the depth of the luggage compartment.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a hybrid system of 1.5TD engine + 7DCTH gearbox + ternary lithium battery, in which 1.5TD engine can output the maximum power of 130kW and the maximum torque of 255Nm, and the total output power of the system can reach 190kW and the maximum torque can reach 415Nm. In terms of battery capacity, it is equipped with a ternary lithium-ion battery with a charge of 11.3kWh, which has a pure battery life that exceeds that of 60km. With the support of a charging pile with a power of 6.6kW, it takes only 1.5 hours to complete the fast charge.

Officials say its 100km acceleration time is only 6.9s and fuel consumption is only 1.4L per 100km. It is understood that the new car is expected to go on sale at the end of May or early June.
