Another domestic Volvo car will be on the market soon! The official announcement, Volvo Asia Pacific production of domestic XC40 new car will be on the market at the end of May and announced the price, the current pre-sale price from 265000 yuan. The domestic XC40 provides three kinds of power, namely, the T3 1.5T four-cylinder engine and the T4/T5 2.0T engine. Among them, the maximum power of T3 1.5T engine is 152 horsepower and the maximum torque is 250N ·m; the maximum power of T4 model is 190 horsepower and the maximum torque is 300 Nm; the maximum power of T5 model is 252 horsepower and the maximum torque is 350 Nm. The T3/T4 is expected to be equipped with a six-gear automatic transmission, while the T5 model is expected to match an eight-gear automatic transmission.

In fact, the market space of luxury compact SUV is not big, it is difficult to form volume models, but in the end, the key is the price factor.

Volvo sold 217855 cars worldwide from January to April, up 8.9 per cent from a year earlier. Volvo's sales in China rose 16.8 per cent in April from a year earlier to 12192, and reached 42078 from January to April, up 7.3 per cent from a year earlier.
