SAIC General Motors sales Co., Ltd., SAIC General Motors Co., Ltd., in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the Administration of defective Automobile products recall and the measures for the implementation of defective Automobile products recall, filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration, and decided to recall a total of 7779 of the following vehicles from June 20, 2019.

Recall models:

(1) SAIC General Motors sales Co., Ltd.

Recall a total of 16 Chevrolet Comero cars manufactured during the period from November 21, 2016 to May 4, 2017.

(2) SAIC General Motors Co., Ltd.

Recall a total of 7763 domestic Cadillac ATS-L cars produced during the period from September 14, 2016 to September 18, 2017.

Reasons for recall:

For the vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to the fluctuation of the supplier's production process, it may lead to poor contact with the internal circuit of the electronic power steering gear, and in extreme cases may lead to steering power failure and safety risks.

Solution:

SAIC General Motors sales Co., Ltd. and SAIC General Motors Co., Ltd. will replace qualified electronic power steering assemblies for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate safety risks.
