Specifically, the new car offers the ordinary version and the ST-Line sports version. The main difference between the two appearance lies in the style and some details of the middle net. Among them, the ordinary version uses the chrome-plated horizontal bar middle net and the silver front bumper design, the wheel rim size is 20 inches. The ST-LINE version uses a sports kit with a hexagonal mesh and a blackened front bumper, 21-inch sports-style two-color rims and a blackened EXPLORER letter logo.

In the rear part, the new car basically follows the cash model design style, and the taillights on both sides are run through by a penetrating chrome strip, which broadens the visual width of the rear. The rear color match echoes with the front. The ST-LINE version uses a smoked letter logo and is surrounded after blackening, while the ordinary version uses silver.

In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5063/2004/1778mm and the wheelbase is 3025mm. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with the same power as the current model and a 2.3T turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 276hp and a maximum torque of 425Nm. The transmission system will match the 10-speed manual transmission and the maximum speed 200km/h.

The explorer is a classic SUV model owned by Ford. Up to now, the SUV models sold under the Changan Ford brand include Ford Leader, Ford Leader Ultimate, New Ford Leader S, Ford Ruiji ESCAPE, Ford Leader, FORD EVOS, Ford Ruijie PLUS, 2020 Ford Road Shaker and Ford Explorer. The product lineup includes compact SUV, medium-sized SUV and medium-and large-sized SUV; sedan models including Fox, Mondeo and Forrest.

Retail data show that Changan Ford sold 142417 vehicles in 2023, compared with 172827 in 2022. Among the subdivided models, Mondeo had the highest sales, with 59904, followed by explorers with 27050, accounting for 18.99% of total sales, and Leader ranked third with 26919.
