Is an enterprise mainly engaged in the automobile manufacturing industry. According to the official website, Kaiwo New Energy Automobile Group Co., Ltd. has production bases in Shenzhen, Wuhan, Xuzhou, Hohhot and Weinan. It entered the passenger car market in 2017, realizing the simultaneous development of merchants and passengers, covering 418 m passenger cars, logistics vehicles, special-purpose vehicles, trucks, passenger cars, self-driving and other products.

According to shareholder information, the company is jointly owned by Nanjing Chuangyuan Tiandi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Huang Hongsheng and Xuzhou Economic and technological Development Zone Jinlong Lake City Investment Co., Ltd. Nanjing Chuangyuan Tiandi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. holds about 36.66%, and Huang Hongsheng holds about 35.34%.

Huang Hong was born in 1956 and graduated from the Department of Radio Engineering of South China University of Technology. Skyworth Group was founded in 1989 and listed in 2000. It is the founder, former Skyworth Group and Chairman of Skyworth Holdings. In other words, Huang Hongsheng is not only the chairman of Kevo Automobile Group, but also the founder of Skyworth Group and Skyworth Automobile.

Lin Jin was born in 1984 and graduated from the University of Toronto in Canada with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He has served as system R & D engineer of Taiwan Ruiyu Semiconductor Co., Ltd., and sales Manager of Taiwan Lianfa Technology Co., Ltd. In 2011, he joined Skyworth Group and served as Assistant Director of Color TV Department of Skyworth Group and Deputy General Manager of Shenzhen Branch of Marketing headquarters of Skyworth Group. He is currently a director of Shenzhen Skyworth Digital Technology Co., Ltd., vice chairman of Shenzhen Skyworth-RGB Electronics Co., Ltd., and chairman of Skyworth Group Co., Ltd.

Data show that Huang Hongsheng and Lin Jinsheng have a father-son relationship, that is to say, Lin Jingsheng, who takes over as chairman, is Huang Hongsheng's son. Lin Jin succeeded Lai Weide as Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee of Skyworth Group in 2022.

When it comes to Skyworth TV, you must be very familiar with it, but when it comes to Skyworth Automobile, it may be strange to people in the automobile industry. One of the reasons is that it entered the passenger car market relatively late and its voice in the car market is not very high. But in fact, the company behind Skyworth Automobile has been developing for more than 10 years. Skyworth Automobile, a subsidiary of Kaiwo New Energy Automobile Group, was established in April 2021 and is headquartered in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. In 2011, Skyworth Group Chairman Huang Hongsheng reorganized Xiamen Jinlong and Nanjing Dongyu Automobile Group, and began to lay out the new energy vehicle market after the establishment of Kaiwo Automobile. In 2017, Kaiwo Motor obtained the passenger car access qualification approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In November 2019, Kaiwo Group officially established the Timi automobile brand, and released its first mass production model, Timi ET5, in October 2010. the price range of the car is 15.28-198800 yuan, and the power is powered by the Skylink intelligent network connection system jointly developed by Timi and Skyworth. Unfortunately, due to the weak brand and the lack of bright spots in the products, ET5's sales performance was low after its listing, with sales of only 595 vehicles in half a year.

In March 2021, Kai Wo Group acquired the trademark of Skyworth Automobile from Skyworth for use in its car brands. In April of the same year, Timi officially changed its name to Skyworth, and its Timi ET5 was upgraded to Skyworth ET5, and the vehicle tail tag was also updated from Timi's English name "Skywell" to Skyworth Group's English name "Skyworth". In July of the same year, Skyworth renamed Skyworth ET5 to Skyworth EV6 and went public. The new car launched a total of four models with a price of 15.28-249800 yuan. The main change is the optimization of configuration and battery, but unfortunately, although the new car has been optimized and upgraded, the sales performance of Skyworth EV6 still does not improve much after listing.

In June, 2023, Skyworth HT-i Ⅱ officially launched, a total of four models, the price range of 128000-259800 yuan. On the same day, Skyworth's EV6 II also officially launched, the car positioning medium-sized pure electric SUV, a total of four models, the price range is 156800-289800 yuan.

So far, Skyworth has two models on sale: Skyworth EV6 and Skyworth HT-i. Retail data show that Skyworth sold 18630 vehicles in 2023, up 12.96 per cent from 16493 in 2022. As a reference, the sales of ideal car, Ultimate Automobile and Xiaopeng Automobile, the mainstream new force of car building in China, are 376030, 160038 and 141601 respectively.

Among the subdivided models, Skyworth EV6 sold 9425 vehicles in 2023 and Skyworth HT-i 9205 vehicles. Among them, Skyworth HT-i was 400 and Skyworth EV6 was 300 in December.

Industry insiders believe that Skyworth has been tossing about in the automotive field for three years, but it has not yet achieved success in terms of brand awareness or sales performance, and after entering 2023, the fierce competition in the domestic new energy vehicle market has exceeded the imagination of most people, and Skyworth cars are very difficult to survive in an increasingly competitive environment. With Huang Hongsheng stepping down as legal representative, chairman and general manager, it means that Huang Hongsheng, who is nearly 70 years old, has retired to the second line. After the change of coach of Kaiwo New Energy Automobile Group, it will take more time to verify whether Skyworth can innovate.
