In the latest issue of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology declaration catalogue, "Automotive Industry concern" inquired that the Toyota Asian Dragon declaration chart has appeared on the declaration catalogue. The new car has declared a total of three power versions, including 2.0L fuel version, 2.0L hybrid version and 2.5L hybrid version. As a reference, the Asian Dragon models currently on sale have launched a total of 11 models with a price range of 199800-279800 yuan.

In terms of appearance, there is little difference between the new car and the current model, and only the details are adjusted. Specifically, the new hybrid model has the HEV logo on the front fender, the 2.5L hybrid model is equipped with a diamond-shaped honeycomb, and the 2.0L fuel version and 2.0L hybrid version are equipped with a relatively more conventional medium-net style.

In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4990/1850/1450mm and the wheelbase is 2870mm. According to the application information, the 2.0L version offers two kinds of tires such as 215Universe 55R17 and 235Universe 45R18; the 2.0L hybrid version offers 215Universe 55R17, 235Universe 45R18 and 235Plus 40R19 tires; and the 2.5L hybrid version offers 235Universe 45R18 and 235amp 40R19 tires.

In the rear part, the exhaust of the new car has changed obviously. Compared with the cash model, the new car cancels the exposed exhaust design and is replaced by the hidden exhaust design.

In terms of power, the 2.0L fuel version is equipped with a 2.0L engine with a maximum power of 127kW; the 2.0L hybrid version is equipped with a 2.0L oil-electric hybrid system with a maximum engine power of 112kW; and the 2.5L hybrid model is equipped with a 2.5L oil-electric hybrid system with a maximum engine power of 136 kilowatts.

The Asian Dragon is a medium-sized car owned by FAW Toyota. In September 2019, FAW Toyota launched the Asian Dragon model, which offers fuel version and twin-engine version, with a price range of 19.98 yuan to 289800 yuan.

In March 2022, FAW Toyota launched the new Asian Dragon and launched a total of 9 models, including the fuel version with a price range of 19.98 yuan to 244800 yuan and the twin engine version with a price range of 23.98 yuan to 279800 yuan. As an annual revamped model, the new car adjusts its appearance and interior, including forward grille and headlights, with a larger screen and a large number of physical buttons, while the power parameters remain the same.

According to retail data, FAW-Toyota sold 802095 vehicles in 2023, with the top three models being the Corolla, RAV4 Rongfang and Carola Ruifang, with sales of 183199, 182059 and 142846, respectively, while Asia Dragon 95254.
