In terms of appearance, the new car uses the "Square Box+" design language, and the overall shape is still square. Specifically, the front face of the new car uses a black enclosed front grille design, with four-point LED daytime driving lights, high recognition. The lower surround uses the cross-country style front bumper shape, and carries on the black painting, cooperates with the engine hatch bulge rib line, the visual impact is quite good.

On the side of the body, the new car is also shaped in a square box, but a decorative board of the same color is added behind the C-pillar, which looks similar to that of the Land Rover Guard. In addition, the new car also uses a new style of 5-spoke rims and can be equipped with luggage racks. In terms of body color, there are five new car colors: cloud gray, sea of clouds white, blue sky, auroral green and deep space black. In the rear part, the new car canceled the design of the "small schoolbag" and replaced it with a new Baojun LOGO in the center. The taillight is a four-horizontal and four-vertical layout, at the same time, a high brake light is added above the rear of the new car, and the back-up van door is side open. In addition, the new car uses a classic side-open rear door design, providing 12L storage space.

In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 3996/1760/1726mm and wheelbase 2560mm respectively. As a reference, the Baojun Yue on sale in cash is also 3381/1685/1721mm in length, width and height, 2110mm wheelbase, positioning small pure electric SUV. Under this, the wheelbase of the new car becomes longer 450mm.

The interior part, which has not yet been officially announced, is expected to be consistent with Yue, using an integrated screen, a knob shift mechanism and a three-frame multi-function steering wheel. In terms of power, Baojun Yue is also driven by a rear single motor with a maximum motor power of 102hp and a maximum speed of 150km. The pure electric mileage of PLUS can reach 401km, which is higher than that of current models. For comparison, Baojun Yue also uses a rear drive with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 50kW, a peak torque of 140Nm, a mileage of 303km under CLTC conditions, and supports fast charging.

Baojun Yue is also Wuling's first pure electric SUV and the first mass-produced model with a new LOGO. It went on sale in May 2023, launching a total of two models, the flagship version and the Smart Edition, with a price range of 79800 yuan and 89800 yuan respectively. Because its appearance is very similar to that of the classic Suzuki off-road vehicle, it is also labeled as "Jimni Pindi".

Baojun is an independent automobile brand founded by SAIC GM Wuling in 2010. Since its establishment, it has undergone two changes. In January 2019, Baojun Automobile released a new logo-diamond logo, which bears the important task of high-end brand. The other is the launch of the Baojun Hyatt model. Officials have previously said that with the new LOGO as the starting point, it will fully enter the new energy racetrack to reshape the brand, becoming another car brand to announce full access to new energy.

For the current Baojun, it has no voice in the fuel car market. As the first model launched after comprehensively cutting into the new energy track and brand LOGO, whether Baojun Yue can become a popular style has become the focus of attention in the car market. Zhou Yan, deputy general manager of SAIC GM's Wuling brand division, previously revealed several small goals of the Baojun brand through social platforms, including Baojun Yue, which also became the annual sales champion of small pure electric SUV.

According to retail data, Baojun Hyatt also sold 14683 vehicles in 2023, making it the highest-selling model under Baojun. From the point of view of the official map information, it is expected that Baojun Yue's PLUS price may be around 100000 yuan, and the new car listing may further boost Baojun car sales.
