Geely's new compact SUV--FY11, officially named Xingyue, is the first Geely model to use a Volvo platform and engine. FY11 is based on the high-end sports SUV built under the framework of CMA, a platform shared with Volvo, which also produces Lecker-branded models and the Volvo 40 series.

At present, it is known that the FY11 will carry the JLH-3G15TD 1.5T three-cylinder engine and Volvo's 2.0TD engine, which must be cheaper than the Lecker 01, while the overall price of the LEC 01 2.0T model is 15.88-220800 yuan.

It is understood that the FY11 model in the appearance of the ordinary version and sports version of the two styles, using a large back of the Coupe body design, so the visual effect will be more younger and more athletic. The front face is similar to the Geely colorful model, the grille is the latest ripple, and a large area of black panels are used to highlight the sense of movement.

On the side of the body, the shape of the Coupe makes the slip-back design become the most important feature. The sports version also adds a black frame and red brake calipers on the windows to improve the sense of movement. The tail is also a major feature of the Coupe model. FY11 uses a two-sided exhaust layout on the ordinary fuel version, while the sports version is equipped with a bilateral four-outlet exhaust layout.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the car are 4605/1878/1643mm, the wheelbase is 2700mm, the length and width are larger than Lecker 01, and the height and wheelbase are less than 01.

According to the official map, the FY11 interior adopts a new design style, the center console uses a flying wing design diverging from the combined instrument to both sides, the large embedded central control screen is slightly tilted to the driver's seat, and is connected to the dashboard through irregular strips, and the rest of the functional areas are also clearly laid out. At the same time, according to the official map, Geely also widely adopts different car logos according to the positioning of different models, and the sports version will use a new logo with all black and silver frames, which is similar to colorful.

It is understood that the FY11 is also equipped with matrix full LED headlamps from Valeo, providing adaptive, curved and other lighting functions.

On the power side, the new car will provide JLH-3G15TD 1.5T engine and Volvo 2.0TD engine, with maximum power of 177hp (130kW) and 238hp (175kW) respectively, which can meet the sixth national standard. 1.5T is expected to match a 7-speed wet double clutch transmission, while 2.0T may use Ericsson 6AT. FY11 will also launch plug-in hybrid versions of new energy models.

Geely FY11 will be launched this year, and its biggest competitor is Changan Automobile's upcoming CS85 model, which is also positioned as the Coupe sports SUV. At present, there are as many as 17 models of Geely brand cars. The launch of more subdivided models will further improve the product layout.
