Data show that the first-generation Ford focus was officially launched in 1998 and the second-generation focus was launched in 2004, which is the best-selling compact car under Ford. As a Ford joint venture in China, Changan Ford introduced the European focus into the domestic market in 2005, launching hatchback and hatchback models, powered by 1.8L and 2.0L engines. March 2012, the third generation of Changan Ford focus officially launched, this generation of models created the peak of Fox, has won the annual car sales crown in 2012-2014, beating Xuanyi, Lang Yi, Carola and other popular cars. However, after the replacement of the four-cylinder engine, the Fox does not have a great sense of existence. In 2022, the focus sold 16523 cars in China. In 2023, 4012 vehicles were sold in the whole year. Although the focus is still on the list, it has actually been discontinued, with monthly sales declining in 2023 and no sales figures since 2024, according to Ford's website.

According to the plan, all models sold by Ford in Europe will be electrified by 2030 and all models on the global market by 2035. According to its planning and the latest information, Ford may launch the pure electric version of Fox in the future, continuing the classic model symbol of Fox. It is worth mentioning that Ford will also invest in the Cologne plant in Germany to transform it into an electrification center in Cologne, which aims to produce 1.2 million electric vehicles over the next five years.
