According to APP, Huawei Technology Co., Ltd. has transferred its registered "sharing" trademark of means of transport to BAIC New Energy.

It is understood that Huawei applied for the "Hangjie" trademark in May 2023 and completed its registration in November. In December of the same year, Huawei applied for a number of "sharing" trademarks, and the international classification includes advertising sales, education and entertainment, metal materials, etc., and the current trademark status is "awaiting substantive examination." Huawei began to transfer the trademark to BAIC New Energy in February and completed the transfer in April.

In response to Huawei's transfer of the "Hangjie" trademark to BAIC New Energy, a relevant person from BAIC Blue Valley said that Huawei transferred the "Hengjie" trademark to BAIC New Energy for use by "Hengjie S9".

At present, there are three business models for Huawei car BU to cooperate with car companies, including Tier1 (traditional parts supplier model, supplying intelligent parts for car companies), HI model (Huawei Inside mode) and smart selection mode, among which the cooperation of smart selection mode is particularly deep. Huawei is not only deeply involved in product R & D and design, but also can sell through Huawei's channels. In September 2023, Huawei renamed its smart car business Hongmeng Zhihang.

At present, Hangjie belongs to Hongmeng Zhihang, which is a new brand jointly built by Huawei and BAIC, and it is also a further cooperation between BAIC and Huawei after the Huawei Inside (hereinafter referred to as HI) model. The Hengjie S9 is the first model of the brand, led by Huawei, manufactured by BAIC New Energy, positioned as an executive business car, and offers single-motor and dual-motor models in power. the new car was unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show in April. the new car is expected to go on sale in the third quarter at a price of Class 500000.

In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a simple design style, with a closed grille design on the front face, a headlamp group similar to the "C" shape on both sides, and a through light belt in the middle, resulting in a high overall recognition. In addition, a wide trapezoidal vent is used around the front of the new car to create a sports atmosphere. On the side of the body, the new car has simple and smooth lines, the roof is equipped with lidar, and side cameras are designed on both sides of the front fender, with hidden door handles and multi-amplitude low wind resistance wheels, making the vehicle look more stable and atmospheric. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5160/1987/1486mm, the wheelbase is 3050mm, and 20-inch and 21-inch rims are available. In the rear part, the new car taillight adopts a penetrating design style, and the rear part is marked with the words "BAIC New Energy" and "Hangjie S9" to improve the recognition. The new car has a ducktail-like design on the rear compartment cover and a concave license plate frame area in the middle to further enhance the hierarchical sense of the vehicle.

In terms of power, the new car offers two versions: single motor and dual motor. The former is equipped with TZ210XYA03 drive motor produced by Huawei Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 227kW. It provides ternary lithium ion + ferromanganese phosphate lithium battery and ternary lithium ion battery. The latter is equipped with YS210XYA03 and TZ210XYA03 front and rear motors produced by Huawei Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd. the maximum power of the front motor is 158kW and that of the rear motor is 227kW, matching ternary lithium-ion battery.

BAIC Blue Valley owns two major brands: polar Fox and BAIC New Energy. This is not the first time BAIC has partnered with Huawei. On the contrary, BAIC is the earliest car company to cooperate with Huawei. The new HI version of the polar fox Alpha S jointly created by BAIC Langu and Huawei was released at the Shanghai Auto Show in 2021 and delivered the following year. However, as the first production car equipped with Huawei HI smart car solution, the performance of the new Jihu car in the auto market is not eye-catching. Data show that a total of 30016 polar fox cars were delivered in 2023.

At present, Hongmeng Zhihang's partners include Cyrus Automobile, Chery Automobile, BAIC Blue Valley and Jianghuai Automobile. The first three brand names correspond to the question, intelligence and enjoyment, respectively. JAC will also launch smart car products in the follow-up. At present, the brand name of the cooperation between the two sides has not been determined, and the market rumor or name is "Aojie". Previously, Huawei has applied intensively, including "X" trademarks such as Yujie, Yujie, Huajie, Aojie and so on. Among them, "arrogant boundary" is temporarily in the process of "waiting for substantive review".

According to the data, Hongmeng Zhihang sold 117100 vehicles from January to April in 2024, of which 107500 were owned by the Mengjie brand. From the perspective of the positioning of the first car of the brand, the new car will compete with Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7-Series, Audi A8 and other models. However, as a brand new model, the pricing of the Huan Jie S9 is particularly important. If the price is too high, perhaps not many consumers will pay the bill. After all, Huawei's lineup of smart cars is constantly expanding, and it is still unknown whether the new car of the Huanjie brand will be as popular as Wonjie after its launch.
