According to media reports, a new round of configuration changes will be made to BMW's models on sale in China from July, involving more than 20 models, including imported and domestic models.

First of all, let's take a look at the domestic models, the first is the BMW 3-Series, the new BMW 3-Series will be officially produced in September, and the configuration will be classic, from 9 models to 5 models, including three long wheelbase models and two standard wheelbase models, the 320i and 320Li have been cancelled, while the all-wheel drive model and the 325Li night version have also been cancelled. Add extreme blue and Brooklyn gray to the color, and cancel Poltimand blue and Melbourne red. It is understood that the official chart of the BMW 3-Series (G20 LCI II) was officially released on May 29th, which is the rare time for BMW to launch modified models twice in the life cycle of the first-generation model.

BMW X1 and BMW iX1 will start production in September New optional features: self-driving assist Pro set (smart driving, anti-dazzling rearview mirror, intelligent cockpit, look-up display), automatic parking assistance Plus set (automatic parking, anti-dazzling rearview mirror), Smart + connected cockpit set (smart cockpit, look-up display), comfort set (keyless entry, mobile phone wireless charging), comfort set (digital key, mobile phone wireless charging), etc.

Among the imported models, the BMW 2-Series two-door coupe (G42 LCI) has been put into production since August, and the BMW 2-Series four-door coupe (F44) ushered in its last production month in August, after which it will be converted to domestic production to replace the BMW 1-Series market position. The M Perform Tex knitting material with M stitches is added to the 225i of the BMW 2-series double-door sports car; the interior decoration is made of advanced brushed aluminum, the light-colored fine line wood with perforated material is added, and the smoky gray ash wood with perforated material is added; the wheel rim style is also adjusted; on the optional configuration, there are a number of decorative parts to be adjusted.

The BMW X7 has been producing new models since August, and the lineup has been adjusted. Some models have added autopilot assistance system Pro, comfort suit, magic blanket air suspension, active steering, aluminum roof luggage rack, M-performance sports suite and so on. Since July, BMW iX has added ramp assistance in models equipped with the autopilot assistance system Pro; it only provides a physical key.

Among the M series models, BMW M2 has been producing new models since August, adding new paint color, seat splicing material, standard carbon fiber interior, new style wheels and optional configuration adjustment. M3 has been producing new models since July, with new wheel rims and interior trimming bars for adjustment. July is the last production month of the BMW X3 M40i and BMW X3 M.

The BMW X5M and BMW X6M have provided only one physical key since August; in models equipped with the autopilot assistance system Pro, ramp assistance has been added; and the plug-in ETC automatic payment system has become standard. BMW XM has only provided a physical key since August; it has been equipped with ramp assistance when it leaves the factory; a standard card-type ETC automatic payment system has been added for XM 50e models; and optional rims have been added for XM 50e models.

In addition to the more obvious configuration changes mentioned above, some other models will also usher in configuration or model changes:

The BMW 5-Series and BMW i5 offer only one physical key from the July production month, while the BMW 4-Series double-door / open-top coupe (G22 LCI, G23 LCI) cancels the rear wheel caliper M mark from the July production month and goes into production of the 4-Series four-door coupe (G26 LCI) from July.

Since the production month in July, BMW X2 has provided only one physical key when equipped with keyless access function with BMW digital key; since August production month, BMW X6 has provided only one physical key, and the plug-in ETC automatic payment system has become standard (previously required 1000 yuan); since July production month, BMW iX has provided only one physical key

According to the latest sales figures released by BMW Group on July 10, BMW Group sold 618826 vehicles in the second quarter, down 1.3% from a year earlier, of which BMW sold 565553 vehicles, up 2.2% from a year earlier, down 2.2% from a year earlier, down 27.6% from a year earlier, and Rolls-Royce fell by 16.0% to 1294 vehicles. In the first half of the year, BMW Group sales totaled 1213359 vehicles, down 0.1 per cent from a year earlier, with BMW up 2.3 per cent and Mini down 18.7 per cent and Rolls-Royce down 11.4 per cent.
