Data show: "Ye" brand is Honda China launched a new electric brand, released on April 16 this year. According to the official plan, Ye will launch a total of six new cars in 2027. Of course, Honda China's launch of the "Ye" brand has something to do with the decline in Honda's sales in China due to the fierce competition for new energy vehicles.

Although Honda is not slow in the process of electrification, it has laid out the EVOR N brand and the rhinoceros brand, and the EVOR N brand has launched e:NS 1, e:NP 1 and other models. But sales of these models are mediocre, with figures showing that 10562 e:NS 1 and 4502 e:NP 1 were sold last year. In June, e:NS1 sold 102 vehicles; e:NP1 sold 160. The cumulative sales from January to June were 2139 and 573 respectively. With the rapid development of domestic new energy vehicles, Honda's situation in the Chinese market is becoming more and more difficult. At present, most of Honda's sales in China come from fuel vehicles. At present, the market share of fuel vehicles is gradually seized by electric vehicles, while in the field of electric vehicles, Honda does not have popular electric models.

Under the influence of these factors, Honda's sales in China continue to decline. Data show that Honda's terminal sales in China in June were 68966, down 39.04 per cent from a year earlier, while cumulative sales in the first half of this year were 415906, down 21.48 per cent from a year earlier.

In order to boost sales, Honda has also made significant changes in electrification, bringing forward the previous decision to "stop putting fuel cars" in 2030 to 2027. According to the plan, after 2027, all Honda models launched in China will be hybrid and pure electric vehicles, and will no longer be launched with new pure fuel models. By 2035, Honda China will account for 100% of pure electric vehicle sales. According to the official plan, there are only about three years to go before new fuel cars are banned in 2027. The competition of new energy vehicles in the domestic market is becoming more and more fierce, and the follow-up listing of Ye S7 will also face great competitive pressure.
