Peugeot-Citroen (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd. has been entrusted to file the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products. With immediate effect, a total of 4311 vehicles of the DS 7 series manufactured during the period from January 10, 2018 to April 15, 2021 will be recalled.

The reason for the recall is that due to design reasons, the gap between the upper edge of the taillight and the taildoor is too small, and the taillight may be damaged due to bumping when the taildoor is switched on. If Rain Water enters the interior of the taillight, the taillight may not be lit, unable to provide a signal for the rear vehicle, and there is a safety risk.

In view of the above defects, Peugeot Citroen (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd. will carry out a leakage test for the vehicles within the recall, check whether the taillights are wet, and replace the taillights that are d the taillights that do not appear wet but belong to the defective batch will be repaired.

It is understood that the DS 7 is a compact SUV model under the DS brand, which is based on the EMP2 platform of the PSA Group. It went on sale in April 2018 and is currently priced at 24.99-329900 yuan. It is powered by a 1.6T engine and matches an eight-speed automatic transmission.

DS, a luxury brand of the French PSA Group, is very popular in France and is known as the "presidential car". In November 2011, Changan Automobile and PSA Group established Changan Peugeot Citroen. BAIC Langu Magna Automobile Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products. It is decided to recall some of the alpha T and alpha S pure electric vehicles produced from November 2, 2021 to June 10, 2022, totaling 3418, starting from July 20, 2024.

The reason for the recall is that for some vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to the poor raw material of the waveform clamp of the fixed brake hose, the waveform clamp may be broken, resulting in local loosening and wear of the brake hose, which in extreme cases leads to brake fluid leakage and longer braking distance, resulting in safety risks.

The recall was carried out under the circumstances that the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration launched a defect investigation. Affected by the investigation, BAIC Langu Magna Automobile Co., Ltd. will replace the corrugated clips for vehicles within the recall area free of charge, such as brake hose wear, then replace brake hoses to eliminate safety risks.

It is understood that Alpha T and Alpha S are ARCFOX polar fox brand models, among them, Alpha T positioning medium-sized SUV model, launched in October 2020, the current price is 18.58-280800 yuan; Alpha S positioning medium-sized sedan, released in April 2021, provides two kinds of power and three endurance version models, the current price is 18.98-329800 yuan.

In addition, Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. and Stellantes (Shanghai) Automobile Co., Ltd. also announced recalls on the same day.

Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the Administration of defective Automobile products recall and the measures for the implementation of defective Automobile products recall regulations. It is decided that from July 19, 2024, a total of 6 imported brand-new Ford Fmuri 150 Raptors manufactured between March 30, 2023 and April 3, 2023 will be recalled.

The reason for the recall is that in some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the clock spring in the steering string control module is inadequately welded, which may lead to the disconnection of the driver's front airbag circuit and the failure to deploy the airbag normally in the event of a vehicle collision accident. There is a safety hazard. In view of the above defects, Ford Motor (China) Co., Ltd. will, through an authorized dealer, check the production date of the clock spring for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge, and if it is a defective batch, replace the clock spring to eliminate safety risks.

Stellandis (Shanghai) Automobile Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the Administration of defective Automobile products recall and the measures for the implementation of defective Automobile products recall regulations. It is decided that from now on, a total of 180 imported Grand Cherokee 4xe vehicles manufactured from March 30 to June 21, 2023 will be recalled, and 5 imported gladiator cars manufactured from April 6, 2023 to June 2, 2023 will be recalled.

The reason for the recall is that in some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the clock spring in the steering string control module is inadequately welded, which may lead to the disconnection of the driver's front airbag circuit and the failure to deploy the airbag normally in the event of a vehicle collision accident. There is a safety hazard. In view of the above defects, Stellantes (Shanghai) Automobile Co., Ltd. will check the production serial number of steering string modules for vehicles within the recall range free of charge, and replace defective batches of steering string modules free of charge, so as to eliminate safety risks.
