On July 21, the new Infiniti QX60 official chart was officially released, the biggest change is the abolition of 3.5L V6 engine, all equipped with 2.0T engine. Due to the change in momentum, the price of the new Infiniti QX60 has also dropped slightly in the North American market, to $51550 to $67500. Of course, Infiniti QX60 only provides 2.0T power in the domestic market, so the change of the new model will not affect the domestic market.

Let's take a look at the new car, as an annual revamped model, its appearance design is consistent with the current model, except for the addition of a black package (Black Edition Package). After the selection, the grille, logo, rearview mirror shell, surround and rims will be fumigated, and the overall sense of movement will be improved. The front face continues to use a large inverted trapezoid air intake grille, and the interior is designed with a black grid, together with LED headlights on both sides, which further improves the recognition of the front face. On the side of the body, the new car adopts the design of suspended roof, its D column is hidden, and the upper and lower edges of the windows are decorated with chrome strips. In the rear part, the black trim panel in the middle is connected to the headlamp groups on both sides to make it look similar to the through-through design.

In terms of interior, the new Infiniti QX60 also echoes with its appearance in pure black, with a three-frame steering wheel, a 12.3in suspension display, a 12.3in InTouch interactive display and a dynamic instrument, and a 10.8inch head-up display system. The central control area tilts slightly to the driver's side as a whole, which is more convenient for daily operation.

In terms of power, the new Infiniti QX60 is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 268 horsepower, offering optional front and four-wheel drive and a nine-speed manual transmission. In terms of chassis, the front part is McPherson independent suspension and the rear part is multi-link independent suspension.

Infiniti introduced a new generation of QX60 into domestic sales in February 2022 and launched a total of six models with a price range of 39.98-619800 yuan. It is understood that QX60 is Dongfeng Infiniti's first medium-and large-scale SUV, and it is also the third domestic model after Q50L and QX50.

As a luxurious medium and large SUV, Infiniti QX60 competitors include Cadillac XT6, Lincoln Flider and Lexus RX. Although it is a luxury brand, Infiniti does not have much sense of existence in the domestic market. With more and more domestic brands entering the medium and large SUV market, QX60 does not seem to have much advantage in terms of brand or product power. In the first half of the year, Infiniti sold a total of 1093 vehicles in China, ranking 106th among Chinese car brands, including 820 for QX60 and 155for QX50.

From the perspective of market performance, there is almost no sense of existence of domestic Q50L, QX50 and QX60 in the current market, with sales of only a thousand vehicles in half a year, which is in fact far lower than the brand announced before, and I don't know whether Infiniti will become the next delisted brand.
