It is understood that the new car can be regarded as a modified model of the Deep Blue S7, which provides pure electricity and extended range power system options, and the high-end model is equipped with Huawei dry ADS SE version of the smart driving system.

In terms of appearance, the new car basically maintains the same design style as the Deep Blue S7, with the same styling for both the pure electric version and the extended version, with a closed grille on the front face and sharp separate headlamp groups on both sides, making the front look more aggressive. Large ventilation vents are retained below, and the intelligent interactive light group on both sides has 696 light sources, which can realize pedestrian comity, driving status reminder, special scene animation and other light projection, with a high degree of recognition. In addition, the new car is surrounded by a trapezoidal grille design and embellished with the same color wings of the car body, making the front face more layered and the visual effect more powerful.

On the side of the body, the new car adopts cross-border SUV design style with rich overall lines, while using a large number of broken line decoration to enhance the three-dimensional sense, equipped with hidden door handles and new two-color petal-shaped rims, the overall visual effect is very fashionable. In the rear part, the shape of the new car is simple, and the taillights are pierced, with a thin strip running through the taillights on both sides, with the brand LOGO in the middle. The iconic light sources on both sides are highly recognizable, and the black encirclement below a large area adds a sports atmosphere to the new car.

It is understood that the Deep Blue S7 is the second production model under Deep Blue Automobile, which was first put on the market in June 2023. It is based on the EPA1 platform and locates the new energy medium-sized SUV. The price range is 14.99-217900 yuan. It provides hybrid and pure electric models in power, and mainly competes with BYD Tang, frigate 07 and Tesla Model Y models in the car market.

Up to now, the models on sale under Deep Blue Automobile include Deep Blue SL03, Deep Blue S7 and Deep Blue G318. Among them, Deep Blue G318 was launched on June 13. It is the first hard SUV model under Deep Blue Automobile, with a total of 6 models with a price range of 17.59-318000 yuan. The power system is equipped with 1.5T extended range power system, and provides single-motor rear-drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive version. The maximum mileage of CLTC is 190km.

Retail data show that the cumulative sales of Deep Blue cars in the first half of 2024 were 67835, including 37800 for the Deep Blue S07 and 30000 for the Deep Blue SL03.

According to reports, the internal PPT of Changan Deep Blue car shows that in addition to Deep Blue S07, the follow-up Deep Blue car will also launch three models, including Deep Blue L07 and the code C518, C857 and D587. Among them, the L07 official map, which was released in May this year, is a product of deep cooperation between Deep Blue and Huawei and is expected to be equipped with Huawei's smart driving program to bring a refurbished smart driving experience. According to the pace of product release, the new car will be on the market this year and will be sold in the same room with Deep Blue SL03, of which SL03 focuses on sports technology and L07 on intelligent technology.
