As a medium-term revamped model, the new car is mainly aimed at upgrading the appearance, interior and power parts. As a reference, the price range of the old model is 89900-165800 yuan.

In terms of appearance, the new car adopts the latest family design style, the front face is modeled with a large area intake grille, and the interior is embellished with banner chrome plating, which is more powerful in visual effect. In addition, the most obvious change in the new car is the use of a new split headlight group, with a through LED light belt at the top and a near and far light group at the bottom. At the same time, the new car is decorated with bright black strips in the details, which not only improves recognition, but also makes the vehicle more youthful and fashionable.

On the side of the body, the shape of the new car is full, using a slightly raised waistline design, the front fender runs through to the rear, with the chrome trim of the window frame, the visual effect is very atmospheric. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4749/1900/1720mm and the wheelbase is 2745mm, which is consistent with the old model. In the rear part, the new car taillight adopts penetrating styling design, and optimizes the details, including fumigating the tail, etc., while the rear part is integrated with more chrome-plated decoration, and replaced with a new style of bilateral two-way exhaust, the overall sense of movement is more, the sense of visual hierarchy is also more rich.

In terms of interior decoration, the layout of the new car is relatively simple, and a large number of soft materials are used in the car to enhance the texture. In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with a brand new three-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel with a double 12.3-inch LCD duplex screen, which is larger than the current size, and is equipped with a new air-conditioning operation area without losing the overall sense of luxury. In terms of seat layout, the new car offers two-by-three five-seat and two-by-three-two seven-seat layout options.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with two 1.5T engines, the low-power version is consistent with the old model, the maximum power is 156 horsepower, and the transmission system matches the 6-gear double-clutch gearbox; the high-power version has a maximum power of 184 horsepower, which is 28 horsepower higher than the old one. The transmission system matches the seven-gear double-clutch gearbox.

The X70, the first SUV model under Jettos, was launched in August 2018 as a positioning SUV model with manual and automatic power combinations, with a price range of 69900-122900 yuan at that time. Since then, ‌ has launched the X70 PLUS, which can be regarded as an upgraded version of the X70, including a smart car system, and is more magnificent than the X70 in appearance. ‌ so far, the Jettos X70 series has three models: X70, X70 PLUS and X70 PRO. Among them, the Jettos X70 PRO went on sale in July last year, with a price range of 10.29-159900 yuan.

The new car is a medium-term revamped model, which will compete with Changan Auchan X7 PLUS, Jetta VS7 and other models after listing. It should be noted that the Jetta X70 PLUS as a medium-sized SUV model, the current market competition is quite fierce, whether the new car launch can further boost Jetta car sales remains to be verified.

According to the official website, JettoMotors' models currently on sale include Jettos, X90 Zilong, X90 PLUS, X90, New X70S, X70 Zhuge, X70 PLUS, X70, X70M, X70 Coupe, X70S, X95 Chieftain Edition, X95 Supreme Edition, X70S-EV and Jett Travelers. Although there are many products, the only models that sell better are Jettours and Jettos X70.

Taking the retail data for the first half of 2024 as an example, the cumulative sales of Jetta cars were 150411, of which the Jetway Traveler was the highest-selling model under the Jetta, followed by the X70, with 44627. The sales of the X90, Dasheng and Shanhai T2 were 18949, 16350 and 10806, respectively, and the rest were less than 10,000.

According to the plan, Jettos will achieve the sales target of 500000 vehicles this year and enter the first camp of Chinese brands. In terms of retail sales in the first half of the year, the annual sales target of Jetta is 30.08%. In other words, Jetta needs to achieve a target completion rate of nearly 70% in the next six months, which is not a small difficulty for today's Jetta. Of course, it remains to be seen whether ‍ shortcuts can do better in the second half of the year.
