Combined with the sales released by major car brands, according to the ranking of the final statistics of "Automotive Industry concern", a number of new energy vehicle companies broke out collectively, of which ideal cars ranked first, with 51000 vehicles, an increase of 49 percent over the same period last year, setting an all-time high. Xiaomi delivered more than 10,000 cars for two months in a row.
Xiaomi is the first new energy vehicle company to announce sales. It officially announced that it would deliver more than 10,000 vehicles in July, but did not disclose the number. It also said that it would deliver more than 10,000 vehicles in August. However, because Xiaomi did not disclose specific sales, so ten thousand deliveries are not in the top 10. In June this year, Xiaomi delivered more than 10, 000 cars for the first time, 14296, bringing the total to 30, 000 since its launch. It is understood that in 2024, Xiaomi will deliver more than 100000 cars and sprint 120000.
Ideal car delivered 51000 new cars in July, an increase of 49% over the same period last year, and once again won the crown of new power. As the main competitor of ideal car, Cyrus recently announced that it sold 41691 vehicles in July, up 617.33% year-on-year sales of 227605 vehicles from January to July, up 658.78% from the same period last year. Due to the sharp rise in sales, Cyrus expects to make a profit in the first half of the year, with a net profit of 1.39 billion yuan to 1.7 billion yuan.
Xiaopeng's overall performance is still average, continuing to stabilize at more than 10,000 vehicles. 11145 new cars were delivered in July, an increase of 1% over the same period last year, of which the Xiaopeng X9 delivered 1459. By the end of July, Xiaopeng had delivered a total of 63173 new cars, an increase of 20% over the same period last year. On July 3, Xiaopeng MONA M03 was officially released, but only the appearance was released, and the interior decoration was still kept secret. As the first model of the MONA series, the MONA M03 adopts a new design and is positioned as a compact pure electric car with a maximum range of 620km and focusing on the market of 10-150000 yuan. The new car will be officially launched in August and delivered in the third quarter.
As for Weilai, its strong market performance in July was 20498, with sales stable at more than 20, 000 for the third month in a row. From January to July, a total of 107924 new cars were delivered, an increase of 43.85 per cent over the same period last year. According to the 230000 sales target set at the beginning of the year, the current achievement rate is 46.9%, which belongs to the first echelon among all new power brands. Nashi car sales are also stable at more than 10,000, delivering 11015 in July, an increase of 9.7% over the same period last year, but the overall performance is not strong. Competitors have sold more than 20, 000 zero-running cars a month. On June 26, Hezhong New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., the parent company of Naha Automobile, submitted an application for listing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The documents show that from 2021 to 2023, United Motor lost 4.84 billion yuan, 6.666 billion yuan and 6.867 billion yuan respectively.
By contrast, zero-running cars performed better, reaching an all-time high of 22093, up 54.1 per cent from a year earlier. According to the Stellantis Group, Zero International shipped its first zero-running electric cars from China to Europe this month. It is understood that Zero International, a joint venture between Stellantis Group and Zero Automobile with a share ratio of 51:49, will start selling Zero C10 and T03 electric cars in nine European countries from September, and plans to expand its sales outlets in Europe to 200 by the end of 2024.
Other high-end brands of traditional carmakers showed a month-on-month decline of 15655 vehicles compared with the previous month. Zhiji, the high-end brand of SAIC, delivered 6015 cars in July. In July, Lantu delivered 6015 cars, an increase of 76 per cent over the same period last year. By the end of July, a total of 36391 Lantu cars had been delivered, while the sales target of Lantu cars in 2024 was 100000, with a current completion rate of only 36%, and there was a lot of sales pressure.
In addition, BYD sold 342383 vehicles wholesale in July, up 30.6% from a year earlier, including 10340 for the Tengli brand, 1842 for the equation leopard and 439 for look up.
From the point of view of the new car sales market in July, except for a few enterprises, most of the car companies are relatively balanced. In the second half of the year, new energy car companies will gradually turn to end-to-end self-driving competition, coupled with the release of their second brands by Ulai and Xiaopeng, there may be major changes in the new energy market in the second half of this year.
