It is understood that this is the first time that BMW X3 has lengthened its wheelbase, adding 110mm to the standard wheelbase version to 2975mm, which is consistent with the BMW X5 standard wheelbase version. With the increase of wheelbase, the length of the new BMW X3 long wheelbase version is the same as 4865mm, and the width is 1920mm. There is no doubt that the size and aura of this generation of domestic BMW X3 will be more powerful. As the fourth generation model, the new BMW X3 long wheelbase version adjusts the appearance and interior, and the overall style takes on a new look, and the new car is expected to be officially unveiled at the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show.

At the same time, the "Angel Eye" LED headlight group is updated to a double L-shaped broken line style, the daytime driving lights are sharper than the classic ring shape, and the lower surrounding area is treated intermittently.
From the side, the new BMW X3 long wheelbase version uses a newly designed side profile, the shoulder line has an obvious upward trend, and the D-column still retains the shape decoration of Huo's corner. In the rear part, the new car is equipped with a new style of 3D three-dimensional LED taillights, the new arrow-feather taillights are integrated with the rear, and the double L-shaped light belt forms a powerful "X" shape, which is equipped with spoiler above the roof and diffuser below, which is very dynamic.
In terms of size, the length and width of the new BMW X3 long wheelbase version is 4865/1920mm, and the wheelbase is 2975mm, in which the wheelbase adds 110mm on the basis of the standard wheelbase version, which is consistent with the BMW X5 standard wheelbase version. It is understood that this is the first time that the wheelbase has been lengthened since the BMW X3 was made in China. Thanks to the increase in body size, the rear seat space will be greatly expanded, and the thickness and length of the rear seats will also increase, bringing users a more comfortable ride experience.
In terms of interior, the new BMW X3 features a dual screen layout (12.3in digital dashboard + 14.9in central touch display), with BMW's 9th generation operating system, and supports QuickSelect (quick selection), voice control, Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto phone interconnection mapping, online navigation and other functions. The new car is equipped with a new 5-series similar interactive atmosphere light belt, including the lower part of the central control screen and the front mobile phone charging panel, creating a simple and technological cockpit atmosphere. The new car uses a newly designed flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel, with touch feedback on the function buttons at 3 and 9 o'clock, a double-spoke design for the standard steering wheel and a three-spoke design for the M sports steering wheel with a center return mark. At the same time, the new car removed the iconic electronic chicken leg block handle of the old model and replaced it with a smaller shift lever and for the first time offered crystal texture interior components for users to choose from.
In terms of power, the declaration of the new car has not been completed at present, and it is expected to continue to use cash power. Referring to the models currently on sale, the 2.0T engine has two versions of 184hp (corresponding to xDrive25i) and 245hp (xDrive30i), matched by 8AT gearbox and four-wheel drive system.
The BMW X3 was first unveiled at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show, code-named E83, and fought side by side with the BMW X5 to start the journey of the BMW X-Series family. At the 2010 Paris Motor Show, the second-generation BMW X3 was unveiled, code-named F25. Compared with the previous generation, the body size of the updated X3 has increased in an all-round way, almost on a par with the first-generation BMW X5 (E53). In 2017, the third-generation BMW X3 was unveiled, code-named G01, and the new car was fully replaced with B-series gasoline and diesel engines. At the 2018 Beijing Auto Show, brilliance introduced the BMW X3 into domestic production and sales, with a price of 39.98-585800 yuan, keeping the same design and size as the overseas version. In August 2021, the mid-term revamped BMW X3 went on sale, offering 25i and 30i power versions, equipped with high and low power 2.0T engines.
In the first half of the year, BMW X3 sold 57577 vehicles, ranking second among BMW brand models after the BMW 3-Series, while BMW X3 sold 15959 vehicles, ranking seventh among BMW brand models. BMW X3 positioning medium-sized SUV, the main competing models include the old rival Audi Q5L, Mercedes-Benz GLC, the first half of the model sales are higher than BMW X3, 65456, 71889 respectively.
Sales of the Audi Q5L and Mercedes-Benz GLC are higher than those of the BMW X3, which may be mainly due to the fact that both models lengthen the wheelbase, while the BMW X3 does not, and now the wheelbase of the new BMW X3 is also lengthened, which will be upgraded in terms of space performance and cockpit design, or help it further improve its sales performance.
