On August 15, the Lecker Z10, the first pure electric model under LinkedIn, officially opened its booking. The new car has launched a total of five models, with an advance price of 215800 yuan. It is understood that the new car is the first pure electric car under the Lecker brand, based on the sharing platform with polar krypton 001, positioning medium and large pure electric cars, some models are built with 800V architecture, equipped with lithium iron phosphate battery pack. According to the plan, the new car will go on sale on September 5.

In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a new design language, the front face is designed with a closed grille, the LED daytime driving lights of the split light group are distributed on both sides of the engine room cover, two vertical bars exist independently, and four small vertical lanes are used for decoration in the middle, while the far and near light group is integrated with the through-type LED lamp group with dot matrix layout, and the overall recognition is extremely high.

On the side of the body, the new car adopts the slip-back styling design of sedan car style, with smooth and slender lines. In addition, the new car also uses hidden water-cut and rimless door design, but the reflector does not use rimless design, but returns to the traditional style. In terms of body color, the new car offers five colors: morning blue, morning glow red, Sunday silver, extreme night black and fluid gray. In the rear part, the new rear lamp group and the front echo each other, using dot matrix short point design, license plate frame and rear enclosure part using irregular geometric design. In addition, the new car is also equipped with hidden active lifting tail wings, which is also a highlight of the new car design.

In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5028/1966/1468mm and the wheelbase is 3005mm. For comparison, the polar krypton 001 made on the same platform is 4977/1999/1545mm in length, width and height, with a wheelbase of 3005mm, while Xiaomi SU7 is 4997/1963/1455mm in length, width and height and 3000mm in wheelbase.

In the interior part, the layout of the new car is simple, and the leather material is used to design the seat. In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with a narrow, long, full LCD dashboard with 12.3, a 15.4in suspension multimedia display screen in the middle of the center console, a built-in LYNK Flyme Auto system, simplifies a large number of physical keys, and uses a shield design, with a dual-spoke multi-function steering wheel and HUD head-up display, making the overall sense of science and technology.

In terms of power, the declaration information shows that the new car will provide two power options of single motor and dual motor, of which the single motor model will provide two power versions with a maximum power of 200 kilowatts and 310 kilowatts respectively; the maximum motor power before and after the dual motor model is 270 kilowatts and 310 kilowatts respectively. In terms of battery life, the new car offers four versions of 602km, 702km, 766km and 806km to meet the needs of different consumers, and is equipped with standard lithium iron phosphate batteries.

According to the positioning of the new car, Lecker Z10 will join the market competition of class 200000 pure electric cars after its launch, competing with polar krypton 007, Xiaomi SU7, Xilai ET5, Xiaopeng P7, Zhijie S7, Avita 12, Hongqi EH7 and other models.

Lectra is a brand jointly funded by Geely Automobile, Volvo Automobile and Geely Holdings, positioning its own high-end brands, with a shareholding ratio of 50%, 30% and 20% respectively. Among them, the CMA infrastructure module jointly developed by Geely Automobile and Volvo Automobile is established. In June 2022, Geely holding Group CEO Gan Jiayue announced at the 2022 Lectra Spring / Summer launch electric party that by 2025, all Lectra's products will be equipped with Lectra intelligent electric mixing technology to realize the electrification of the whole series of products. At present, however, fuel cars are still the market for LinkedIn to stabilize sales.

As the first medium-and large-scale electric sedan under Lecker, the new car will become a key model for the brand's transformation to new energy, and it will also be another new car after Lecker 08 EM-P and Lecker 07 EM-P. It should be noted that the current market segment of medium and large pure electric cars is very competitive. Taking the retail data in July as an example, the top five models sold are Xiaomi SU7, Polar Krypton 001, Han EV, Zhiji L6 and Galaxy E8, with sales of 13120, 9335, 7550, 3517 and 3076 respectively.

As a latecomer, Lecker Z10 is not easy to become a benchmark. After all, it also includes traditional car company BYD Han EV, as well as new brands SU7, Zhijie S7, Avita 12 and other models. As for whether the belated Lecker Z10 can carry the banner of growth, let's wait and see.
