The reason for the recall is that for the vehicles within the scope of this recall, the connecting hoses of low-pressure fuel pipes may accelerate their aging due to the higher temperature in the area, affect the tightness of the connection, and may lead to fuel leakage and obvious fuel odor, resulting in unreasonable emissions. In view of the above defects, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will, through Mercedes-Benz authorized dealers, replace the connecting hoses of low-pressure fuel lines free of charge and install heat insulation devices for vehicles within the recall range. to eliminate unreasonable emissions.

This recall belongs to the "Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. recalled some imported and domestic cars" issued on July 1, 2022, an expanded recall of low-pressure fuel line recalls for S-class cars. It is decided to recall a total of 283 Audi E-TRON GT series cars manufactured during the period from July 26, 2022 to November 23, 2023 from August 31, 2024.

The reason for the recall is that for the vehicles within the scope of the recall, due to design reasons, cracks in the front brake hose may lead to brake fluid leakage, resulting in lower braking efficiency, longer braking distance, increased vehicle collision risk, and safety risks.

In view of the above defects, FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd. will entrust Audi authorized dealers to replace the optimized front brake hoses and brackets for vehicles within the recall range free of charge, in order to eliminate safety risks.
