AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)08/19 Report--
On August 19, a letter called "Joint statement of Lecker owners" attracted the attention of the industry. Lectra offers an OS N system with 8155 chips, the statement said. It has been two years since the launch of OS N, and it has been a year since the last update. After a year of maintenance and optimization, there is no substantial change, the operation interface stutter is not followed, navigation adaptation and other problems occur frequently, resulting in the 8155 chip failed to give play to its actual performance. In this regard, owners hope that Lecker can consider upgrading the OS N car system with 8155 chips to Flyme Auto system, after Geely's Galaxy L6, L7 and other models equipped with 8155 chips all provide Flyme Auto update plans.
It is understood that two sets of car engine systems, namely Flyme Auto and OS N, are currently on sale. OS N was developed by Lecker's own research team. One of the highlights of the system is AI intelligent voice, which is said to be able to complete eight voice instructions in 10 seconds and has the ability to understand context, but users are obviously not satisfied with the actual use of the OS N system. The Flyme Auto is mainly installed on the latest models of Lecker, such as Lecker 07 and Lecker 08. The car system is jointly built by Star Meizu and Yijiatong Technology. The boundless desktop supports the transfer of mobile applications to the car, and the non-inductive connection can be connected automatically without operation after the first confirmation. Support seamless relay, mobile-car hardware interworking and sharing hardware capabilities, support mobile phone car search, support parallel windows, small window display, cross-end visible and so on.
As for whether OS N can be upgraded to the Flyme Auto system, LinkedIn has previously replied. Lectra said that the OS N system is based on the depth of 8155 chips and has completed the adaptive development and use of all Lectra models. From a technical point of view, the Flyme Auto system does have some bright spots in some aspects, such as dynamic 3D effects and small window functions, but based on the 8155 chip computing power distribution, these functions can not get on the bus.
According to Lecker, the OS N system is difficult to switch to the Flyme Auto system, and it has been reported that Lecker will usher in a wave of major upgrades in the third quarter of this year to improve the stability and fluency of the system, with the goal of being in line with the Flyme Auto system in the experience of basic functions. After the OS N system upgrade, if you can improve the car machine stutter and other problems, perhaps the car owners' demand for upgrading the OS N system to the Flyme Auto system will not be so strong, on the contrary, the problem of car owners' complaints will be more serious, which may affect the sales of relevant models.
Today's automobile market has become an intelligent era of software-defined cars, and users have certain requirements for the intelligence of the car, and may even become one of the standards for car purchase, because the current car is more and more like a mobile phone. it is possible to achieve most of the functions on the mobile phone, and the system stutter has a great impact on the user's experience, and may even affect driving safety. Therefore, for Lecker, the stutter problem of the car machine system still needs to be paid attention to. In the era of electrification and intelligence, the performance of the intelligent car machine system has become one of the standards of the car company. Although Lecker has the Flyme Auto system, the problems existing in the OS N system also need to be solved.
