On September 1st, BYD announced its latest August production and marketing KuaiBao. Data show that BYD produced 366973 vehicles in August, up 28.8% from a year earlier. Automobile production totaled 2319858 vehicles from January to August, an increase of 26.57 percent over the same period last year. BYD sold 373083 vehicles in August, up 35.97% from a year earlier. From January to August, car sales totaled 2328449, an increase of 29.92 percent over the same period last year. In August, overseas sales of new energy vehicles were 31451.

As far as brands are concerned, most of BYD's sales come from dynasty and ocean.com, which had a bright sales performance in August. BYD Automotive Dynasty and Ocean Network sold a total of 355679 vehicles in August, accounting for almost most of BYD's sales. Of these, Chaochao sold 178040 vehicles in August, with a cumulative sales of 1132867 from January to August. The highest-selling model of Daozhao.com is Qin, which sold 70457 vehicles in August, while other models of Han, Tang, Song and Yuan sold 17029, 12069, 36306 and 42179 respectively in August.

Ocean.com sold 174892 vehicles in August, mainly from seagulls, seals and Song PLUS, which sold 40949, 54835 and 40487, respectively. In addition to the sales of these models, the sales of Oceannet Dolphin and Destroyer 05 also exceeded 10,000, with sales of 15164 dolphins in August and 15333 in August. It is worth mentioning that with the exception of Dynasty and Ocean, BYD's sales in August doubled compared with the previous month, with the largest increase. On August 20, Tengli Z9 GTZ9, the latest model of Tengli, opened its pre-sale. The prices of the two models range from 359800 yuan to 389800 yuan. With the arrival of new models, the follow-up sales of momentum cars will also increase. For the pre-sale sales of Z9GT and Z9, Zhao Changjiang, general manager of Teng Teng sales Division, once revealed that 24-hour orders for Teng Teng Z9GT and Z9 have successfully exceeded the one-month sales of mainstream luxury cars at the same price.
