On September 9th, the 2025 BYD Han officially went on sale. The new car has launched a total of 9 models with a price range of 16.58-235800 yuan, of which the 2025 Han DM-i ranges from 16.58 to 225800 yuan and the 2025 Han EV ranges from 17.98 to 235800 yuan.

Although the new car is only a revamped model, the overall change is still very obvious, mainly for design, intelligence and power optimization and upgrading. The biggest highlight is that the power is equipped with DM5.0 technology, and the configuration will upgrade DiPilot 300, Yunxing-C and rear five-link suspension, which is the first high-end intelligent driving assistant model equipped with lidar.

In terms of appearance, the new car continues to use the current "Dragon Face" design concept, but the DM-i version of the front face of the model removed the big mouth grille, replaced by a closed intake grille, the visual effect is more atmospheric. The long and narrow LED headlamps on both sides of the new car are connected by a chrome-plated strip, and the overall recognition is very high. In addition, the parts of the front surrounding air intake and heat dissipation are blackened to show the movement. In addition, the biggest change in the new car is the optional lidar on the roof.

On the side of the body, the new car still adopts the slip-back roof line design, and the double-section waistline design makes the vehicle more car-running property, with the popular hidden door handle and black spoke wheel hub and side skirt to further enhance the sports atmosphere. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4995 (4975) / 1910/1495mm, and the wheelbase is 2920mm. In the rear part, the new car taillight adopts through-type design, and integrates BYD's classic "Chinese knot" style design to enhance recognition.

In the interior part, the new car is equipped with a 15.6inch LCD central control and a 12.3inch LCD instrument, and is equipped with a DiLink 100high-end intelligent cockpit. The new car multi-function steering wheel still uses double-spoke style, and uses independent zone atmosphere lights to create a good sense of luxury. In terms of smart driving, the new EV and DM-i top models upgrade the "Divine Eye" high-level intelligent driving assistance system-DiPilot 300, equipped with Yunfu-C intelligent damping body control system, the overall sense of technology is stronger.

In terms of power, the new Han DM-i is a hybrid system with fifth-generation DM technology, 1.5T engine, maximum power 115kW, peak torque 225N ·m, and motor maximum power 200kW, peak torque 315N ·m. Matching Fudi iron phosphate lithium blade battery; Han EV will be equipped with pure electric power system, which can output maximum power 150kW, 168kW, 180kW, peak torque 310N ·m, 350N ·m, and pure electric driving mileage of 506km, 605km, 701km under CLTC condition.

Han is one of BYD's flagship models and BYD's go-volume model, positioning medium and large cars, which went on sale in July 2020, while the 2022 Han EV went on sale in April 2022 with a price range of 26.98 to 329800 yuan. In February this year, the BYD Han Glory version went on sale, with a total of 10 models, including the Han DM-i Honor version with a price range of 169800-225800 yuan, the Han DM-p Ares version with a price range of 259800 yuan, and the Han EV Honor Edition with a price range of 179800-249800 yuan.

As a medium and large car, the new car mainly competes with Xiaomi SU7, Lecker Z10, Galaxy E8 and other models in the car market. Retail data show that from January to July this year, BYD Han sold 111100 vehicles, ranking first in the list of medium and large sedans, followed by Audi A6L and Mercedes-Benz E-Class with 98800 and 78100 respectively, Polar Krypton 001 and BMW 5-Series with 63900 and 46800 respectively, and Xiaomi SU7 ranked sixth with 43100. It is important to note that Xiaomi SU7 is a new car that only went on sale in March this year.

From the current market sales performance, the Han model has established a certain market position in the car market, with the optimization and upgrading of the new car configuration, it is expected to further boost sales. What needs to be faced squarely is that the current 200000 level of medium and large pure electric car market competition is particularly fierce, especially after the listing of Xiaomi SU7, it has become a strong competitor to Han models. For reference, the Han model sold 17000 vehicles in July, while Xiaomi's SU7 sold 13100.
