On Sept. 10, Wisdom R7 officially opened its pre-sale, with an advance price of 268000 yuan. It is understood that the new car is the second model under the Zhijie brand jointly built by Huawei and Chery after the Zhijie S7, positioning the pure electric medium-sized SUV, and it is also the first sedan SUV model of Hongmeng Zhixing, which is driven by pure electric, equipped with Huawei Hongmeng cockpit and the highest 802km of pure electric driving of ADS 3.0.
In terms of appearance, the new car as a whole uses Hongmeng Zhixing family design language, the front face is designed with a closed grille, both sides are equipped with through daytime driving lights and active intake grille, and equipped with Hongmeng Zhihang's latest intelligent headlamp system, the degree of recognition is relatively high. In the lower surrounding part, the new car retains the lower diversion groove, which is simple and severe in visual effect.
The new car has smooth lines on the side of the body, using the sedan SUV design style, showing a slippery back shape, and a watchtower lidar on the roof, with hidden door handles, red brake calipers and a 20-inch double five-spoke wheel design to further enhance the sense of movement of the vehicle. In the rear part, the new car taillight is also designed with a penetrating taillight group, which has a higher degree of recognition after lighting. In the interior, the new car features a yacht-style encircling cockpit, a large central control screen, a 12.3in full LCD dashboard and a brand new olive sports steering wheel, equipped with Huawei's latest smart driving system, ADS 3.0, and a more intelligent voice assistant. In terms of power, the new car offers a choice of single-motor version and dual-motor version, of which the maximum power of the single-motor version is 215kW; the maximum power of the dual-motor version is 365kW. It is expected that the new car will provide three capacity batteries of 79.934 kWh, 80.186 kWh and 97.682 kWh, with pure electric mileage of 667km / 666km, 736km / 711km and 802km / 755km respectively.
From the perspective of the positioning and pre-sale price of the new car, the new car may be aimed at young family users after its launch, and it will also have a strong advantage in smart driving under the aura of Huawei. It is expected that it will compete with Tesla Model Y, Xilai EC6, Teng Teng N7 and other models after listing.
Zhijie Automobile is a joint brand of Chery and Huawei. The Zhijie S7 is the first car owned by Zhijie and Hongmeng Zhihang, which went on sale in November 2023 with a price starting at 249800 yuan. On April 11 this year, the new Zhijie S7 launched a total of five models with a price range of 2498 yuan to 349800 yuan, with a price reduction of 20, 000 yuan compared with the old model. It is worth mentioning that the performance of the car in the car market has been lukewarm since its launch. Retail data show that the Zhijie S7 sold a total of 18900 vehicles from January to August this year, and even if it launched a modified model in April, its sales did not improve significantly. Not long ago, Yu Chengdong said that he wants to build the smart world S7 and R7 into the favorite pure electricity brands for young people. From the analysis of the sales volume of the Zhijie S7 which has been listed, the Zhijie S7 has lagged far behind other Hongmeng Zhihang models. For comparison, in the first eight months of this year, the sales of the M7, M9 and M5 were 133400, 92900 and 27300 respectively. As a newly established brand, Zhijie Automobile still needs to make more efforts and changes if it wants to become the favorite pure electricity brand among young people.
As for whether the intellectual R7 can replicate the popularity of the world after its launch, it is not yet possible to judge the follow-up market expectations because the final price of the new car has not yet been announced, but Yu Chengdong has previously highly praised the car, saying it surpasses traditional luxury cars in terms of product strength.
