According to the comprehensive information on the declaration chart, the tail mark of the new car is marked with the "RT" logo, as well as the naming of two different models, "T" and "VT", so the naming method of the new car is still uncertain and more time is needed for the official announcement.

In terms of appearance, the new car continues the family design style of GAC Ean, and the front face adopts the very popular closed grille design of electric vehicles, with polygonal headlamp design, and the overall shape is round and full. The lower surrounding part is smoked and blackened, and both sides are equipped with black aerodynamic decorations to enhance the sense of movement of the vehicle.

On the side of the body, the new car uses a large number of curved designs, which is more rounded than the models currently on sale by GAC Ean. The new car charging port is located on the right front wing of the vehicle, equipped with hidden door handles and provides 17-inch or 18-inch rims for consumers to choose from. In addition, the new car is expected to adopt a slip-back design style, but it is still uncertain because the information about the new car is still very limited. In the rear part, the new car does not adopt the popular through taillight design, but uses split taillights, the shape of the lamp groups on both sides is relatively flat and smoked, and the internal light source is designed with 6 vertical strips on the left and right, which is expected to have a higher degree of recognition after lighting, with the "AION" letter logo in the middle. In addition, on the left side of the taillight is the text "Eian" logo, and on the right is the "RT" logo. It is worth mentioning that the new car has also declared the names of two different models, "T" and "VT", so it is not clear what name the new car will adopt.

In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car is 4865/1875/1520mm, the wheelbase is 2775mm, and the positioning is pure electric medium-sized car. As a reference, the length, width and height of the EAN S currently on sale are 4810 (4863) / 1880 (1890) / 1515mm, and the wheelbase is 2750 (2760) mm. It is expected that the new car will be positioned higher than the EAN S model.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) of motor model TZ180XYXOF51, with peak power of 150kW and 165kW, top speed of 163km/h, and lithium iron phosphate battery of Ningde era. Specific parameters have not been announced, the follow-up "automotive industry concern" will also continue to pay attention.

From the perspective of the positioning of the new car, if the new car is positioned as a pure electric medium sedan, it means that it will face fierce market competition in the future. now this market has become a must for all major car companies, and all car companies, including BYD, have successively launched a new model layout market this year. After the listing of BYD Qin L DM-i and Seal 06 DM-i, there has been an obvious reshuffle trend in the midsize car list. According to the data, Qin L DM and Seal 06 sold 35957 and 32903 vehicles respectively in August, continuing to be the top and second place in the midsize sedan sales list, and the only model on the list that sold more than 30, 000 vehicles. For comparison, the two cars sold 32466 and 21659 respectively in July, also ranking first and second on the list.

From January to August this year, GAC Ean New Energy sales totaled 186400 vehicles, down 37.74 per cent from a year earlier, making it GAC GROUP's biggest decline, with an annual sales target of 700000 vehicles, with a completion rate of only 26.63 per cent, according to official figures. So far, the layout of GAC Ean has included AION S, AION Y, AION V and AION LX models. Retail sales data show that in the first eight months of this year, GAC's highest sales model was AION Y, with 106200 vehicles, followed by AION S, which is also the main model that GAC Ean put into the online car-hailing market, while AION V and AION LX sold 13800 and 276 vehicles, respectively.
