Remeo power is a battery pack start-up founded by Tesla and former engineers at SpaceX. This time, the two companies will also set up a new joint venture to sell pure electric transmission systems.

Due to environmental protection problems and increasingly severe emission reduction targets, many manufacturers have invested in fuel cells and high-capacity power cells for new energy. Tesla, Volkswagen, Bosch and other manufacturers have invested billions of dollars in power cells.

The founder of Remeo power has a background of Tesla and a former employee of spaceX. CEO Michael Patterson, a former employee of spaceX, has been working on power batteries since he founded the company. Potential Harris, the chief technology officer, is a former Tesla employee who used to be the chief battery designer in Faraday's future.

Harris said that the energy density and temperature state of the battery can be accurately measured through computer software and data, so that the input and output of current can be more effectively controlled. There is no need to add a complex cooling system like Tesla. This kind of battery pack is more compact and has higher energy density.

Romeo boldly claims that its technology is better than its competitors:

Superior safety: the battery pack is designed with inherent thermal runaway mitigation function and provides multiple fault-tolerant software and hardware to effectively block the connection between the short-circuit battery and other batteries in the battery pack.

Unlike Tesla, remeopower does not have independent battery manufacturing capacity, but orders batteries from Panasonic, Sony, LG and other manufacturers, and then builds battery packs through their own technology and design.

Remeopower, which is now popular with BergWarner, will receive funding and technical support to help BergWarner maintain its leading position in the automotive industry.
