Behind the postponement of the event may be the pressure on the market for the Model 3max Y model. According to the sales list, Model Y is one of the top three best-selling models in China. Because of this, more and more domestic electric vehicles begin to aim at Model Y and regard it as a competitor, trying to grab 20 to 300000 yuan of pure electric SUV market share.

These models are priced lower than Tesla Model Y and offer richer product configurations, but as a pure electric SUV that has been ploughing the Chinese market for many years, this is also incomparable to the above models. This is also the reason why domestic cars regard Tesla Model Y as a competitor, as the best-selling pure electric model in China. You can not only radiate to your own models with the help of Tesla's strong brand influence.

As for Model Y, Yu Chengdong, managing director of Huawei, chairman of terminal BG and chairman of smart car solution BU, praised it as "a very good-selling and excellent product in the pure electric SUV market" at the launch of the intelligent R7, but also boasted that "the goal of the intelligent R7 is to be better than the Model Y and compete across the Model Y with specifications that surpass Tesla Model X."
