In accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products, Elf Automobile sales (Nanning) Co., Ltd. was entrusted to file the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration. Decides to recall a total of 2545 Elf # 1 pure electric vehicles produced from April 20 to May 30, 2024 and some Elf # 3 pure electric vehicles from April 20 to May 31, 2024 from September 30, 2024.

The reason for the recall is that due to manufacturing problems in some vehicles within the scope of this recall, the strength of the guide nut of the front seat belt height regulator may be insufficient. In extreme cases, the front seat belt height regulator has fixed failure, which affects the restraint effect of the seat belt, and there are hidden dangers.

In view of the above defects, Elf Automobile sales (Nanning) Co., Ltd. will replace the front seat belt height regulator assembly for vehicles within the recall range free of charge through authorized dealers to eliminate safety risks.

It is understood that smart is a brand of Zhimada Automobile Co., Ltd., established on December 17, 2019, jointly funded by Geely Automobile Group Co., Ltd. and Mercedes-Benz Co., Ltd., each holding 50% of its products are designed by Mercedes-Benz global design department, and Geely global R & D center supports engineering research and development.

In terms of battery life, the new car has different CLTC mileage of 415km, 520km and 555km, respectively. In the car market, it mainly competes with models such as Polar Krypton X and BYD Song PLUS EV Glory Edition.

The above two models are pure electric models, both are based on Geely SEA vast platform, the appearance and interior design are from Mercedes-Benz, Geely provides SEA vast pure electric architecture and overall engineering research and development. In April this year, the new versions of the new smart Spirit # 1 and the new smart Spirit # 3 were officially launched. Among them, the new smart genie # 1 launched three configuration models with an official guidance price of 15.49-199900 yuan, a reduction of 24200 yuan compared with the 2024 smart genie # 1 Pro+ models. The new smart Spirit # 3 launches three configuration models with a price range of 16.49 yuan to 219900 yuan, which is 45000 yuan lower than the 2023 smart Spirit # 1 Pro+ model.

Retail data show that from January to August this year, the smart brand sold a cumulative total of 17997 vehicles, including 13399 for smart Spirit # 1 and 4598 for smart Spirit # 3. From the analysis of sales data, whether in the small pure electric SUV or the compact pure electric SUV,smart, the pressure of market competition is not small.
