As a replacement model, the appearance of the new car changes obviously, the front face uses a new shape of polygonal large-size grille design, the interior is embellished with scale shape, the visual effect is more rugged. The long and narrow LED headlamp group is arranged on both sides, and the air intake channel on both sides is decorated with chrome plating, so the overall recognition is very high.

On the side of the body, the design style of the new car is similar to that of the cash model, the waistline runs through the body, the shoulder line of the body is discontinuous, and the edges and corners at the arch of the rear wheel enhance the sense of strength of the body. As a fuel car, the new car retains mechanical outer door handles and does not use hidden door handles. In addition, the concave eyebrows with newly designed double five-spoke rims also make the vehicle more fashionable.

In the rear part, the new car adopts through-type taillight group design, and uses the second generation digital OLED technology to support the close detection function, which can warn other road users after lighting. The rear part is surrounded by a circular silver decoration to highlight the three-dimensional sense of the tail, and the exhaust is two-sided layout.

In the interior part, the new car adopts the latest family cockpit layout and is equipped with OLED curved double screen design, which is composed of 11.9 inch LCD instrument screen and 14.5 inch central touch screen. In addition, the new car is equipped with a new flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel, a 10.9-inch entertainment screen in front of the passenger car, support for HUD head-up display system options, and the shift mechanism has been changed from an electronic gear to a more compact and concise electronic slider style, making the visual effect more refined.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a 48V light mixing system with a maximum power of 200kW. The transmission system matches a seven-speed double-clutch gearbox and a quatro four-wheel drive system.

Reviewing the development process of Audi Q5, it has developed to the third generation model so far. In the domestic market, Audi Q5 first made its debut at the 2008 Beijing Auto Show and was first listed in China as an imported car in 2009, with a price of 57.7-678000 yuan. In March 2010, the domestic Audi Q5 went on the market with a price of 37.98-539800 yuan. At the 2016 Paris Motor Show, Audi launched the second-generation Q5; in March 2018, Audi Q5L was officially unveiled, and in July of the same year, Audi Q5L went on sale with a price range of 39.28-517000. Then at the 2020 Guangzhou Auto Show, Audi Q5L Sportback sold for 42.68-499900 yuan.

Audi Q5L is one of Audi's three best-selling models in China. Retail data show that Audi Q5L sold 102400 vehicles from January to September this year, ranking second among Audi models, second only to Audi A6L (127900).

As a medium-sized luxury SUV model, Audi Q5 mainly competes with BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC in the car market. For comparison, Mercedes-Benz sold 114200 GLC vehicles in the January-September period, compared with 77200 for the BMW X3. As for whether the new generation of Audi Q5L will be ahead of Mercedes-Benz GLC when it goes public, let's wait and see.
