According to the official photos, the new car features a large number of straight lines with two-color body and suspended roof design, with black eyebrows, side skirts and rims, red brake calipers and all-terrain tire design. the visual effect is very cool, but also gives people a sense of strength.

In the rear part, the rear part of the new car is equipped with a small schoolbag storage box, and adopts the upper opening design, the built-in mesh bag separation area, and the bottom is provided with pluggable leakage holes with drainage function. In addition, the new car also provides an oversized roof off-road rack with the word "BORN FREE" on the roof. It is understood that the roof luggage rack carrying area of 1.3 square meters, the maximum load of 50 kg, looks full of sports and a sense of strength.

Officials said that as Geely's first light off-road SUV model, the new car has both cross-country SUV style and traditional SUV practicality. It is worth mentioning that Geely declared the Geely ICON sports model last month. Industry insiders said that Geely cowboy or Geely ICON is expected to be a cross-country version of the model. However, as of press time, the official has not released more details about the new car. More information still needs to be officially announced. According to the application information, the Geely icon sports model is based on ICON and is also designed with a large number of cross-border kits, equipped with black rims and available in 16, 17 and 18-inch sizes. In terms of size, the length, width and height are 4442/1860/1770mm and the wheelbase is 2640mm. In terms of power, the car is equipped with a 1.5T engine, maximum power 133kW, peak torque 290N m, matching 7-speed wet double clutch gearbox.

Up to now, Geely brand SUV models include Xingyue L, Boyue L, colorful Yue, LaCrosse PRO, Boyue, Howell L, Geely ICON and other models, covering small SUV, compact SUV, medium-sized SUV and other market segments. According to retail data, the highest sales of Geely's SUV segment in September were Xingyue L, with 19000 vehicles, followed by Boyue L and Qiyue, with 13600 and 8400, respectively, and Hawthorne L and Geely ICON with 2700 and 465 vehicles, respectively.

Geely brand is the main source of Geely car sales. Data show that Geely sold 201900 cars in September, up 21% from a year earlier and 11% from a month earlier. Of this total, 91100 new energy vehicles were sold, accounting for 45 per cent of the total. Among the subdivided brands, Geely brand sales were 154800, an increase of more than 16% over the same period last year and a month-on-month increase of more than 10%; Lecker brand sales were 25800, an increase of more than 18% over the same period last year, an increase of about 15%; and the polar krypton brand was 21300, an increase of 77% over the same period last year and 18% over the previous year.

"Geely New Energy will gather to build the Galaxy brand and formally merge geometry into the Galaxy brand, and 'GEOME' will become the Galaxy's smart boutique car series," Geely Automotive Group CEO Gan Jiayue said at the launch event of Geely Star on October 9. In the future, Galaxy will focus on the mainstream new energy market, covering A0 to C-level products, covering cars, SUV, MPV and other new energy models.

Geely is scheduled to sell 2 million cars in 2024, with cumulative sales of 1.4897 million in the first nine months of this year, up 32 per cent from a year earlier.
