Judging from the top 10 sales list, there are seven independent brands on the list, all of which are electric cars, while there are only three luxury brands, all of which are fuel vehicles. Among them, the BYD family ranked first with 28232, including 8853 pure electric vehicles and 19529 plug-in hybrids, an increase of 37.4% over the same period last year. Not long ago, BYD launched a new Han family model with a price range of 16.58-235800 yuan. The biggest highlight is that the power is equipped with the fifth generation DM hybrid technology, DiPilot 300, Yunxing-C (high-end model) and five-link suspension after replacement. At the same time, it is also the first high-order intelligent driving assistant model equipped with lidar.
In addition to BYD Han, Xiaomi, extreme Krypton, Lecker and other emerging brands have also performed well, one after another into the top 10, these emerging brands do not have the historical burden of traditional car companies, more dare to try new things, more able to attract young consumers. Compared with the Han family, the new star model Xiaomi SU7 sold 20726 vehicles, which is the first time it has sold more than 20, 000 cars a month since its launch. It is the most eye-catching car in the same class, second only to BYD Han. According to the statistics of medium and large pure trams, Xiaomi SU7 is the well-deserved top seller. It is understood that Xiaomi's goal in 2024 is to deliver 100000 vehicles and hit 120000 at the same time. According to the market performance of Xiaomi SU7, as long as sales remain above 20, 000 in the next two months, the target of 120000 will not be a problem.
Since then, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6L and BMW 5-wash ranked 345 and 5 respectively, with sales of 14500, 13731 and 9387 respectively. BMW 5-Series is the only model with sales of less than 10,000 vehicles, with a growing gap compared with luxury cars of the same class. Compared with Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5-Series, Audi A6L offers greater discounts in the end market, and Audi A6L becomes the main car purchase choice.

In contrast, polar krypton ZEEKR 001has not sold well in recent months, selling 14383 vehicles in June and has been declining since then, leaving only 5870 in October. Among them, the Zhiji L6 is a new car that has just appeared on the market, with a price range of 19.99-325900 yuan. At present, monthly sales are basically stable at more than 3000. Teng Teng Z9GT is a new car that has just hit the market, with a time-limited price of 33.48-414800 (until the end of 2024). Teng Teng Z9GT is positioned as a "flagship hunting sedan", offering pure electricity and plug-in power options. Teng Teng Z9GT is also the first flagship GT model equipped with easy tripartite technology and uses CTB body battery integration technology.
Out of the top 10, most of the best-selling medium and large cars are electric cars. The medium and large cars with sales of more than 1,000 are popular Xinghai S7, Galaxy E8, Zero C01, Volvo S90, Polar Krypton Z10, Avita 12, Jiyue 07, Audi A7L and Zhiji L6, of which 7 are electric cars, two are fuel vehicles, Volvo S90 is 2238, ranking 14th, Audi A7L ranks 18th with 1800.
From the perspective of the medium-and large-scale fuel vehicle market, except for the 56e and Volvo S90 and Audi A7L mentioned above, all the other models are less than 1,000, with Jaguar XFL 796 (ranking 22nd), Red Flag H9 492 (28th) and Cadillac CT6 1 (37th). In the fuel car sector, the only product left by the independent brand is Red Flag H9, with dismal sales; in the new energy sector, Volvo S90 New Energy, Mercedes-Benz EQE and BMW 5-Series New Energy have been ranked at the bottom of the list.
As the "only seedling" of independent brands in the large and medium-sized fuel vehicle market, Red Flag H9 is regarded as a domestic car that can compete with Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6L, BMW 5-Series and other joint venture luxury medium and large cars, launching new models at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, the new car in the appearance, interior, system, power, safety and other aspects of new upgrades, but from the sales in recent months, Red Flag H9 not only has a big gap with BBA, and even difficult to survive.
Medium and large cars can be regarded as the bottom line of traditional luxury brands, especially BBA, which represents brand value and profit space, but as independent brands continue to develop high-end, more competitors pour into the 200000 price range, and more technology elements are integrated into luxury, the advantages of traditional luxury brands gradually disappear. At the same time, more and more second-tier luxury brands begin to be marginalized in the medium and large car market, facing the risk of elimination.
