The new American version of Volkswagen Tiguan was officially unveiled at the 2024 Los Angeles Auto Show. The LED daily running lights run through the whole front face, and the center is inlaid with the luminous brand LOGO, which is highly recognized after lighting. The large-size intake grille is moved to the front enclosure, and the interior of the grille is designed with a diamond grid, which forms a sense of hierarchy with the design of the air inlet surrounded below, and the overall sense of motion is not lost.

On the side of the body, the new car also continues the new Volkswagen Tayron design style, and the waistline design makes the vehicle look quite dynamic. The size has not been officially announced. For comparison, the new European Tayron has a length, width and height of 4770/1852/1660mm and a wheelbase of 2791mm, while the new Tanyue L has a length, width and height of 4684/1854/1685mm and a wheelbase of 2791mm.

In the rear part, the new car is also designed with a penetrating taillight group, which echoes with the front face. In the center is the English logo of Volkswagen LOGO and Tiguan, which increases the recognition of vehicles. In the interior part, the new car is decorated with a large area of brown leather and wood-grain panels, making the model more luxurious. In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 204hp, which is close to the domestic top version of Tanyue L R-line, with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a 4Motional four-wheel drive system.

The American version of the new Volkswagen Tiguan can be regarded as a renamed car of the new European Tayron model, corresponding to the Tanyue L model in the domestic market, named Tayron in the European market and the 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan in the North American market. It is understood that the American version of the new Volkswagen Tiguan and the new European Tayron and the new domestic market Tanyue L are of the same origin. These three models are all based on the MQB Evo platform and are almost the same in appearance and shape. However, the new Volkswagen Tiguan offers only five seats, while the new Volkswagen Tayron offers five and seven seats.
