Among them, the cumulative sales of new energy models were 22735, up 72.52% from the same period last year, while fuel sales totaled 13800, down 41.02% from the same period last year. BYD's cumulative sales of new energy reached 97200 vehicles from January to April, an increase of 1.23 times, while fuel sales totaled 58200 vehicles from January to April, down 44.85 from a year earlier.

From this, we can see that BYD differs from other independent brands in that they focus on new energy vehicles, so BYD also uses sales to prove whether it is the right choice. Maybe in BYD's opinion: they are so serious about making new energy vehicles that they don't care about fuel cars anymore.
