Geely launched a new sedan SUV-Xingyue, the price of which will be announced on the evening of the 10th.

The new car is the first to use a Volvo platform and engine. FY11 is based on a high-end sports SUV built under CMA, a platform shared with Volvo, which also produces Lecker-branded models and the Volvo 40 series.

In the appearance part, the new car offers two design styles: the ordinary version and the sports version. The intake grille on the front face of the family is ripple, but the design is more flat, with an exaggerated front bumper, and the high-end model is equipped with matrix LED headlights from Valeo with adaptive function.

In the side part, the body design of Coupe with large slip back is adopted, and the black frame and red brake calipers are added in the sports version, so the visual effect will be younger and more athletic. In the tail part, the FY11 uses two-sided exhaust on the regular fuel version, while the sports version is equipped with two-sided four-outlet exhaust.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the car are 4605/1878/1643mm and the wheelbase is 2700mm. Defined as a compact SUV.

In terms of interior decoration, FY11 adopts a new design style, the center console uses a flying wing design diverging from the combined instrument to both sides, the large embedded central control screen is slightly tilted to the driver's seat, and is connected with the dashboard through irregular strips, and the layout of other functional areas is also clear. At the same time, Geely also popularizes the use of different designs according to the positioning of different models, and the sports version will use a new logo with all black + silver frame, which is similar to colorful.

On the power side, the JLH-3G15TD 1.5T engine and Volvo 2.0TD engine will be provided, with a maximum power of 177hp (130kW) and 238hp (175kW) respectively, which can meet the sixth national standard. 1.5T is expected to match a 7-speed wet double clutch gearbox, while 2.0T may continue to use Ericsson 6AT. FY11 will also launch plug-in hybrid versions of new energy models.

Geely FY11, whose biggest competitor is Changan's upcoming CS85 model, is also positioned as the Coupe sports SUV.
