AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)02/22 Report--

Mercedes-Benz E-class "broken shaft" has been heard for a long time, and even "alarmed" the General Administration of quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. China Automobile quality Network has launched a solicitation on this matter, and recently there was another Mercedes-Benz E-class "broken shaft" accident in Guizhou.

Xiang, who lives in Xingyi City, reported to the media on the 21st that her new Mercedes-Benz E300L, which she bought only two months ago, suddenly "broke its axle" while driving on the highway, so she was too scared to drive the car again and asked the 4S store to return the car.

In early December last year, Ms. Xiang picked up a Mercedes-Benz E300L to Hengxin Star Mercedes-Benz 4S store in Xingyi City, Guizhou Province, which cost more than 580000. After picking up the car, I drove the lady and husband to my hometown in Henan for the Spring Festival. On February 6 this year, Ms. Xiang was on her way back to Xingyi when her car broke down on the highway.

According to Ms. Xiang's recollection, at that time, near the Yangjiazhai Bridge in Sansui County, she suddenly felt the front of the vehicle suddenly sink, thinking that the vehicle had a flat tire, so while paying attention to the road conditions next to her, she parked the vehicle in the emergency lane by means of spot braking. According to Ms. Xiang, the car was driving normally at a speed of about 100 yards, and the inexplicable problem scared her from driving the car again.

After the incident, the lady contacted the high-speed rescue and towed the vehicle to the nearest Sansui highway toll station through a rescue trailer. on the same day, the vehicle was towed to the nearby Tongren Mercedes-Benz 4S store, and on February 11, the vehicle was arranged to be towed back to Xingyi.

"since then, there has been no specific way to deal with the vehicle." Ms. Xiang said that the new car that had just been purchased for more than two months had this problem, and now it has been in the store for more than half a month, and the store has not given the corresponding results. "they asked for the dismantling and inspection of the car, but who will be responsible after the dismantling? What is the way to deal with it? " To the lady, now his request is to return the car, while asking the 4S store to compensate for the corresponding losses.

Regarding this matter, the relevant person in charge of Xingyi Hengxin Star Mercedes-Benz 4S store said that he had communicated with the lady to the store after the year, but because the other party was more emotional and asked to seal up the vehicle, it was not allowed to do the relevant identification and analysis of the dismantling of the car. So the car has been placed here. At the same time, the 4S store also said that parts such as shock absorbers and tire rings need to be dismantled and fed back to the manufacturer. Only after communicating with the manufacturer can the final solution be discussed with the other party.

So far, Ms. Xiang and the 4S store are still in negotiation.

As early as January this year, the China Automotive quality Network has already issued articles soliciting the problem of Mercedes-Benz E-class "shock absorber fracture" and the quality complaint of "Beijing Mercedes-Benz E-Class shock absorber deformation and fracture". This will provide clues for the relevant departments of the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration to investigate automobile defects, and once confirmed, the General Administration may carry out automobile defect investigation and recall supervision.

There have been numerous cases of fracture failure of the lower fork structure of Mercedes-Benz shock absorber on the network, and some people in the industry have explained that the strength caused by poor structural design of the lower fork stamping part of the main shock absorber is not enough. Shaking left and right is either out of balance or broken at the root. Whether the "broken shaft problem" can be big or small, I am afraid only Mercedes-Benz manufacturers can give an accurate explanation on whether the "broken shaft" of the Mercedes-Benz E-class is accidental or the design reason, but for such a long time, Mercedes-Benz does not seem to respond directly to this matter, and the general response "caused by external forces" is still unconvincing.
