FAW-Volkswagen released an April sales report, which showed that FAW-Volkswagen sold 151000 vehicles in April, down about 7.8% from last year, and topped the list of passenger car companies in April and January-April.

According to the data report, monthly sales reached 150763 in April, down 8.4 per cent from a year earlier. From January to April, cumulative sales were 625642, down 4 per cent from a year earlier and occupying a market share of 9 per cent.

In terms of car models, the new Suiteng, which just went on sale in March, achieved cumulative sales of 22492 vehicles in April, a sharp increase of 39.7% from the same period last year. The new Bora reached 19192 vehicles, up 7.8% from the same period last year, and won the first 78271 vehicles sold by FAW-Volkswagen from January to April. Sedan Volkswagen CC sold 2180 cars in April, up 38.6% from a year earlier.

With the steady growth of car models, SUV models are also getting better, both of which are growth trends. The cumulative sales of compact SUV T-ROC tango reached 8831 in April, an increase of 32.4% over the same period last year. Sales of medium-sized SUV Tanyue reached 8547 in April, up 51.8% from a year earlier, or more than 0.5 times.

In the car market downturn environment, to rise against the trend. FAW-Volkswagen gradually fills the deficiency of the SUV market, so its sales performance occupies a certain share among the major automobile companies.
