Because the power system of the new energy vehicle no longer needs the support of the traditional internal combustion engine, it will undoubtedly break the technical barrier established in the past hundred years, and mastering the core technology of the three electricity is the competitiveness of the future development.

Traditional car companies, such as BMW, Daimler, Toyota, General Motors, etc., emerging car manufacturers such as Tesla, Fisco, riamc domestic Lulai, Zero run, etc., have chosen to develop their own three-power system. The market space of traditional parts manufacturers is gradually shrinking. In order to face the challenges of the future, four automobile suppliers have embarked on the road of electrification transformation.

Bosch said that there are two challenges in the future, one is the Internet of things, and the other is future travel. In view of these two major future trends, Bosch's automobile travel technology is developing in the direction of electrification, automation and interconnection. Bosch's annual investment in electrification amounts to 400 million euros, or about 3 billion yuan. Doctor to play in the mechanical and electrical advantages, has been carrying out research and development, products covering motors, electronic control. Earlier, through cooperation with Swedish enterprises to carry out battery technology research, in order to break down the barriers of China, Japan and South Korea in battery technology.

German gearbox manufacturer ZF expects to invest more than 2 billion euros in global research and development in 2018 to develop advanced electric drive products, hybrid transmission technology, vehicle safety systems and self-driving technology. Compared with several parts giants ZF, which focuses more on self-driving technology in new energy models, ZF's share of research and development has increased from 6.1% to 6.5%.

On the other hand, Japan Denso has been constantly merging, joint ventures, alliances and cooperation in 2017, upgrading in many areas such as electrification and self-driving. Recently, Japan Denso took a stake in Japan's Creationline (Creative Line), a developer of open source and agile software, and bought another 4.5 per cent of chipmaker Renesa Electronics in 800m days to continue to drive car control systems and self-driving.

Denso will restructure its business in 2019 with the aim of improving the company's competitiveness in electrical and self-driving technology. A research and development department will be set up to focus on the research and development of mobile system technology, among which self-driving and interconnected driving technology will be the top priority. At the same time, other business units will also be restructured. The restructuring department of Denso will focus on the thermal efficiency of parts, which will include automotive waste heat recycling systems and other metal sectors, as diesel engine sales decline and electric vehicle production increases. Denso is changing the structure of its powertrain business group to ensure that customer needs are met as soon as possible. However, Denso did not mention more details.

Schaeffler officially launched its electric vehicle business unit last month, while setting the strategic goal of "tomorrow plan" to transform to pure electric vehicle solutions, industrial 4.0 and smart vehicle digital technology. The electric vehicle business within the group is planned to account for more than 15% of the total revenue by 2020. Schaeffler will build a 48-volt light hybrid power plant in China and will provide domestic mainframe manufacturers with gearbox auxiliary motors.

Schaeffler continues to promote the development of intelligent driving systems, and unveiled the e-Corner intelligent steering drive module with 90 degree steering and SpaceDrive II wire control technology with triple safety redundancy at the Shanghai Auto Show, providing a new scheme for the steering and safety of self-driving cars in the future.

Several parts suppliers have their own emphasis, and without exception, they all hope to make some progress in the field of electrification and self-driving. Both Bosch and ZF have sold their non-core businesses to China in recent years, and according to the trend in recent years, the four giants are optimistic about China's electric car market.
