Denso is changing the structure of its powertrain business group to ensure that customer needs are met as soon as possible. However, Denso did not mention more details.

Schaeffler officially launched its electric vehicle business unit last month, while setting the strategic goal of "tomorrow plan" to transform to pure electric vehicle solutions, industrial 4.0 and smart vehicle digital technology. The electric vehicle business within the group is planned to account for more than 15% of the total revenue by 2020. Schaeffler will build a 48-volt light hybrid power plant in China and will provide domestic mainframe manufacturers with gearbox auxiliary motors.
