Xu Liuping revealed that in terms of technology and research and development, Red Flag has made three major plans, namely, the flagship plan of Intelligent Network, the flagship plan of electric power and the Kirin tourism plan; in terms of manufacturing, FAW Group has changed the Red Flag. All manufacturing plants; in addition, Red Flag "Heart" service has been proposed to achieve Red Flag products, lifetime free rescue and lifetime free delivery truck warranty. Since the launch of the Red Flag brand strategy on January 8, 2018, the sales of the Red Flag brand have increased significantly. According to public data, Red Flag sold 33000 vehicles in 2018, a year-on-year increase of nearly seven times. In the first quarter of this year, sales of the Red Flag brand increased by more than 78 per cent to 13300.

New changes bring new hope. Driven by a series of innovative measures, Red Flag achieved nearly tenfold growth in the first four months of this year. These achievements also brought "courage" to Xu Liuping. When Xu Liuping just became chairman of FAW Group, he said: "Red Flag will be the first and only luxury brand in China."

So what are the chances that Red Flag will become the first and only luxury car brand in China? Can the glory of Changan be replicated? During Xu Liuping's more than ten years in charge of Changan, the progress of Changan is obvious. Xu Liuping has some experience in establishing the enterprise's R & D system. The absolute factor for the success of Changan products lies in the construction of its R & D system, not only in the internal independent innovation, but also in the integration of external resources.

The rapid development of Changan is inseparable from the leadership of Xu Liuping.
