AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)05/17 Report--

福特在北美召回27万辆Fusion 以修复传动故障

According to foreign media reports, Ford Motor Company announced a recall of 270,000 Fusion models in North America due to transmission system failures that may cause shifting and slipping. The recall is for Fusion models with 2.5-liter engines produced between 2013 and 2016. The cars were built at Ford's Flat Rock, Michigan, and Hermosillo assembly plants in Mexico.

Ford said sleeves connecting transmission cables could fall off, and defective gear shift cable sleeves could lead to potential slipping hazards. The bushing of the affected vehicle may fall out of the transmission, which may cause the vehicle to shift gears differently from the gear selected by the driver. After the driver has parked and got out of the vehicle, there may be a situation where the vehicle slips. This resulted in "accidental movement of the vehicle."

Ford has received three reports of property damage from the problem, as well as one report of injuries "possibly" related to the problem. Ford said it would notify owners to replace faulty parts. However, the company advises owners to switch off the engine and set the parking brake when parking their vehicles before maintenance.
