Reasons for recall:

Due to the defects in the design of engine ECU management software for vehicles within the scope of this recall, some vehicle engines burn ahead of time before normal ignition, which may damage the engine and cause engine flameout. In extreme cases, the vehicle may have a fire and there are hidden dangers.

Solution:

Hyundai Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will upgrade the engine ECU management software for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate safety risks.
