FAW-Volkswagen announced on official account that its Quanxinzi brand will be announced in Wolfsburg, Germany on Feb. 26. The brand will be designed and developed by Germany and imported and sold by FAW-Volkswagen. According to previous news, the brand may be named "Jetta", targeting mid-and low-end models, focusing on SUV, based on Volkswagen's new MQB platform.

Prior to foreign media reports, the sub-brand is FAW-Volkswagen specially prepared for the Chinese market, produced by FAW-Volkswagen Chengdu Branch, is expected to launch the new LOGO. Three products, car design and SUV, are expected to be launched in China this year.

According to statistics, FAW-Volkswagen sold 1416666 vehicles in 2018, an increase of 0.8% compared with 1405088 in the same period last year, of which the annual sales of Maiteng, Suiteng, Bora and Jetta all exceeded 200000.

Volkswagen suffered the first loss in 2019 in January 2019, and the Quanxinzi brand is also expected to produce Volkswagen models in order to occupy less than 100000 of the domestic car market.
